This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I've been playing piano over a year and I'm starting to get the hang of it, I play Grade 3 songs and haven't entered exams yet... Anyways has anyone ever played piano or just love listening to piano ? I hope that this wouldn't get locked....

My favourite instrument after cello. I'm specially fond of my Erik Satie, Geoge Gershwin & Cole Porter albums. I'd love to learn but my music teacher managed to eliminate even the slightest fibre of confidence I could have for playing any instrument. I might try again in the future; by the moment listening to it is enough.

Is it hard? How long does it take to master it? How many hours do you practice per week?

I love songs on the piano. I listen to lots of songs on it, and I think that Gackt is a really good piano player^.^ He's amazing at it.
In the future I would love to learn how to play it properly!

FO SHO!

go download some music online... and get some jazz stuff. IMO... its alot more fun than most classical stuff. Word of warning though, if there is a classic song you love, don't try to play it until you're really at a higher level, else youll end up hating that song.

Oh, and BTW.. fir elise by beethovan is cursed.. all the people i know who play that song stopped playing piano soon after...

My musician acquaintances have told me that you really get to know your instrument when you play classical stuff. For those who can play an instrument: what do you think about this statement?

Hey, you got the same name as my sister, sophie.. that's scary XD.
i play piano, not like the pros tho. i wanted to play the piano since i love how pianist make their fingers flow. it looks so elegant and it just makes me go wow. i don't, sadly, take piano lessons, but my parents are thinking about it. i can play a majority of songs but my left hand is so stubborn, it's hard for me to play XD

I do really like the music played by piano!
It is also my favorite instrument, although I can not play it.^^|||
Sometimes I envied somebody who can play it or violin very well at the same age as mine.I always want to learn how to play them also. But no enough time.
What a pity!

I love listening to things played on a piano. I regret turning down lessons when I was a kid. I'd still like to learn how to play but my life is so busy right now.

I absolutley love playing the piano, its amazing to hear people play it too. such as hearing yiruma, a korean pianist, play his song kiss the rain or a river flows in you. the piano allows the pianist to express his feelings with even more power than just talking about it. I dont want to brag but i have been only playing for two years and have been excelling like crazy, already playing sonata k545 and is driving me crazy how fast i have been going. my teacher says i have a gift and i want to believe her but i cant, but hopefully i will become a successful composer/pianist in japan.

I absolutely love my piano *___*
I played piano for about 7 years now and I just can't stop, it's really like a drug.
At first I was not that great but that was because I was not streched by my second teacher but since I have a new teacher (two years ago) I have improved very fast. =)
My exam was a few days ago and I did well ^_^ I'm so happy~ xD

I have no favourite song because it changes very fast. When I hear a great song I start to talk about it and annoy my parents >P (But I'll always love Für Elise and fantasy in d minor from Beethoven)
I just love talking about my piano and the songs I have to play
Sadly I can't play until 3 pm because our neighbours get pissed off because it's so loud... (and they're sleeping at that time... wtf <.<)

Well, if you want to be really good you have to play at least two hours a day - my teacher and a very good pionist told me.

(I'm sorry for the mistakes but I'm German, not English^^" and I'm only 15... T.T I want to know English better *loves that language*)

Wow.. i just had my exam today.. i did.. bad T_T I was sick for 2 weeks before my exam and i didnt practice!i only had.. 3 days to practice... that's just really bad. It is Soo not enough. But at least i PASSED! *THANKGOD* i thought i'd fail or something.. phew~

Anyways, im doing grade 7 now. im HOPING to do better and that I won't get sick AGAIN -_-"" (kicks my sickness.. wasted my valuable practice times) >=S

Piano is alright sometimes, it can be fun and sometimes boring and hard and confusing and tiring and yeah =D I started playing piano when i was 7. so I've been playing for 5 years now. I was forced to play piano in the beginning but got the hang of it afterwards, found it easier. Now im learning violin ^^

anyways, people out there doing their exams, wish you good luck =]
