This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Some people prefer to sit back in front of the TV (or computer) and watch your favorite animes, and some prefer to find a nice comfortable spot to read their favourite manga..........

What would you prefer to do and why?

Personally, i like watching animes, because its a lot easier without having to turn the page all the time, but dont get me wrong,... I love Mangas and love reading them as well!

What are your thoughts?

;)

If I could see both, I will do so!

Sometimes, the anime won't have the good bits the manga has...

But sometimes, they add new material in the anime that the manga never had...

So it's a toss up, really.

As long as a good studio animation team is working on it, all's good.

I tend to do both mostly cause in the case of manga, there are scenes that you don't get the anime version of it. For anime, its just the fact that you get to see new possible twists in the storyline aswell as getting more entertainment. Right now I'm taking a break from anime and delving more into manga.

I'd have to say manga over anime. alot more detail can go into the drawing of the manga compared to the animation of the characters for anime. for example the love hina/negima series... i love the manga for both, they are awesome, but then when the series were animated i was really dissapointed in how they turned out...

Now now...

The Negima anime is the most TERRIBLE one out there. -_-;;

We have the Love Hina anime, which is pretty good. But then, we have the Negima anime, which is just terrible. Plot, character introductions, the design (the awful hair colours)... it didn't make up for having Yui Horie to voice Maki, either! Overall TERRIBLE...

And not to mention the last ep in the season... (i've heard about it... don't plan of watching it now...)

Love Hina at least tried to resemble the original right to the very end without the 'OMG SURPRISE TWIST!'

Personally, as much as I love tv and electricity, xD I would much rather find a comfortable stop on the couch and drown myself in a manga. I find myself being drawn in while I read a manga. Now don't get me wrong, I love anime. I would watch some of I had a chance, I do go to youtube regularly. However, I still find mangas much more not only better for you but, ...okay, I just like it. ^_^;

Both of them are good and I don't want to reject anything
But if I have to choose, I'll choose Manga
Why? Because when I read manga, I can also imagine many many things
But when I watch anime, I just watch and feel what I saw, that's all
Sometime, anime is better than manga

I prefer manga over anime but it depends...
From my experience, if the series started as a manga, then the manga is better. (eg. FMA)
If it started as an anime, the anime is better. (eg. Evangelion)

I defintly prefer reading mangas over watching anime. Cause your imagination can take over see the characters moving like in Furi Kuri. There is also a lot more detail it seems to me in manga then anime so you can also get more out of it. But the sad part is I watch more anime then reading mangas :'( just because they are easier to find and you can understand the thought process "moving."(i think?)

I prefer animes, reading mangas is kind of boring, everything is black and white. Animes are a lot more entertaining, with colors, sounds, music and voice.

It depends - I enjoy reading Fruits Basket more than the anime series but the opposite for Ghost Hunt. I find with shonen action series like Bleach, Trigun and Naruto - it's easier to watch it than to read it. The action scenes just don't seem to capture my attention in manga form. It's better to watch moving action. But lately, I find myself investing more money into manga than anime dvds.

Manga, about 95% of the time.

The remaining 5% is when I'm lazy.
