Exam Results Failed: Your Reactions?
Suicide is the only answer . . .
Seriously, exams are easy. I hate editing papers for days on end. That sucks way more than exam taking.
Edit: I wasn't being serious, hence the "seriously" later in the post.
I can't post a reply, so I have to edit.

ApologySuicide is the only answer . . .
Er...are you trying to tell those students who have failed exams to commit suicide?
I failed my exams at university level yeah it sucked
.
But i got expected into a really good school because of my skills in computers
.
And now im working on a childrens full 3D animated series that will air on my countrys most popular TV channel.
So if you fail, its not the end of the world. You don't win anything by being lazy :)

I've never failed major exams before, although theres the small stuff like monthly tests and quizzes. Failing an exam is not something that people should not lose their lives over. It's saddening to see things like that occur.
All that I can say is that the person who fails should just pick him/herself up. Theres more to life than that. Failing an exam is not the end of the world, it's merely a setback. All over the world there are people who succeed in life without much of an impressive education. My uncle is one of them. He went to school till 12 and then went to tap rubber. Now he's a rubber tycoon. The type that goes around with 3 Mercedes Benz and sending his kids to places like Cambridge.
Sure, getting kick-@$$ grades does give a person a better future. But when the person does not succeed it does not mean that suicide should occur. Education is not the SOLE method of succeeding in life. It is merely the most commonly used method.

Heheh... you gotta BE it to KNOW it... =-="
i failed one of my subject and so i'm repeating it again this yr... not great.
when i found out my results last yr by internet, i felt like grabbing my flatscreen monitor and throwing the bl**dy thing onto the floor. luckily, i have great self-control so didnt. but i did physically use the rather solid wall to relieve my tension and distress (i.e. head-banging) and yes...it hurt but oddly enough the ache inside, the notion that i failed, actually hurt WAY WAY more...
yes, suicide thoughts flew by and though you may think "what a freak!"...u gotta be in the situation to know what its like...<sigh> and though, by truth, life still goes on after failing, will it be as good as not failing? could it have been better? could you have achieved more? been a different person? the thoughts and questions never end and to know that you can never answer them coz you failed and now you'r a bum on the streets isnt that great...
and so i agree with you on some points, but with all due respect, failing matters. maybe not equal to suicide, but fainting is a good possibility.

I would be very sorry because this is my last semester and I'm planning to stay at my college, be a scholar. So I'm studying pretty hard.

I would feel sad.and i will work harder next time because failed paper make me feel bad
Actually I didn't read the whole topic too lazy and too sleepy to read :p
I didn't failed a course in my life and I am thankful for that. But I did get rarely really bad marks so I feel really depressed and unsatisfied of course. Then I feel sad for couple of days after that I try to cheer myself and I get my energy back I try to work harder, do my best and to don't messed up next time. ^_^

World is against you, that's the only right answer.
Look, if one fails, it's simply fail.
Yes, I recognize entirely the issue of "self-pity" and "self-depression."
But this is simply a wave of evil against you.
I had this kind of periodic time. 68% 75%
Imagine what would've happened if I got 50% under
Life is complicated, there's no definite answer.
But I know what I believe in and that's enough.

To the degree to kill yourself? No, it isn't, but then again, I live in America, and from my understanding, things run a bit differently here than other places. An education IS very important IF you want to make it to the top, and even then, if you dont actually have the skills and experience needed to maintain a certain position, you'll only fall back down to the bottom. As I see it here, grades are a way of showing how much effort you have put into your field of study. The more effort you put in, the more employeers are gonna want you because they think you will put the same amount of effort into that job, that you did in school. Skill is more or less related to how well you can do what you need to do, and how well you pick it up. The quicker you have this, the better off youll be. Experience is needed in your career field i spose to show that you can and HAVE worked in that field before. The more of this you got, of course, the better youll be.
There are some people who dont need to put the effort into an education in order to be good at something for one reason or another. And they have enough talent and ability to use that skill at a young age which can catch the eye of many people. Meh, in the end, it just depends i spose.

I think that failing is something quite normal. If you have bad results in school, that doesn's mean that you're stupid or something; it just shows you're either not interested or not working enough, or, in the worst (my) case, both of it.
but killing yourself just because some stupid old people think that this is absolutley necessary for your education? killing yourself just because they think that?
hell, no! I got lots of bad marks and results along my way in school, and I never even thought about such thing.
you gotta learn how to deal with it, you can't always win, neither can you be good at everything; there'll always be things that you can't do as well as you wish, and you'll always fail in some way or another.
but failing is also part of our lifes; noone says that you shouldn't even try, but if you realize it's all no good...well, just leave it, there are people who can do it.
so my reaction is: take it easy. but take it. and try harder next time.

Hmmm, it was the norm for me back when I was in high school but after I get into college, I've never failed a paper. But recently I just failed one paper, I couldn't believe it but... I didn't place much importance in it because I think I've found something else to focus on. Besides I didn't fail that module. Just that paper. (:

It's panic time.
>.< I don't want my grade to be lower. Nooo. I would probably, most likely, take my anger out on my friends and rant about it until I'm satisfied. Which is going to take a while. I like getting good grades, it's better than getting bad grades and hearing your parents ranting on and on about why you fail and how they're not going to buy you things if your grades keep failing. Even so, suiciding over exams? Woah, that's scary. Another way added to my list of how to die. -_-" That's so not worth it. You can always make it up right? Or take it again. No need to go extreme.

For me personally, I suck at taking tests. I don't know what it is about them, but whenever they go "Test time!" my mind goes "Awhaa?" This is especially bad for me because in the college that I attend, a majority of the grade for each subject that semester is derived from test scores; mind you, almost all the professors have an unwritten rule that they'll drop the lowest score, but that usually doesn't help me out. Now, most of the classes I can either do decently on the test or totally bullshit my way through and somehow make it through with at least a C, but math? Me and math have a long standing relationship; he tries to stab me in the liver when I'm not looking and I try to hide from the bastard. I'd rather take a test in an other class except sociology (whooo, don't get me started on that @_@) before I take a math one. My parents say it's because I'm more of a practicality/hand on learner than a theroy-based person. Essentially, I'd rather learn things that I'd use, not what is based off ideas and theories -coughmathcough-.
ZOMG CALC TESTS OH NOES
ZOMG CALC TESTS OH NOES

Well, i will feel how it feel for this year.. If i pass i won't feel that but if not... You guys should know it.. But suicede isn't the best way to finish the problem... If I fail the exam, i would receive it and maybe try another semester
..
For people who think suicede is the best way , i suggest you for not doing that... You are too young to die with a way like that.. Just keep smiling and our heart won't think about it and let every problem go..
