I'm not exactly the RTS type, but it was occasionally fun from time to time. To be honest, the campaign mode didn't impress much, nor did the normal maps that tagged along with it. There was only one map that was adequate -- if anyone has played this game I'm pretty sure you've heard of it; Defense of the Ancient, or simply abbreviated as DotA. This map was amazingly frustrating and 'fun' (if you're winning, of course) and could evoke such fiery emotions, for example: "like OMG! why didn't you stun him!? DENY THE TOWER IDIOT! GOGOGO, PUSH! OH MY GOSH, this guy is freaking noob, LEAVE THE GAME!". It wasn't a pleasant game, especially when someone decides to get upset because you apparently let him 'die', then goes on a heroic journey to spam the screen with "THAT'S IT, YOU'RE BANNED! BANNED BANNED BANNED!". If you want to gain the best experience while playing DotA, it's best just to play it with people you know.
Apart from DotA (which I haven't touched since forever), sorry to say but there's nothing special here -- probably because I'm not an RTS fan.

ke Warcraft3:TFT, I usually play custom maps
I love this game.
Playing it LAN with you friends on custom maps over Ventrilo often results in HILARIOUS events that will scar you for the rest of your life.
Very, very memorable times with this game.

Eh, I'm not a huge fan of the normal game. Its too much microing, and not enough strategy. Its just about who can spam creature abilities better. The custom maps, though, are where it really shines. DotA is often fun, as are all the TD games. Really, the game has amazing replayability, because Blizzard knows what they're doing when they make campaign editors.
It's cool though. :D
I usually spend some time in WC3: FT
In about 5 hours maybe? O___O
*Addicted much. LOL

It's still a classic, it'll probably be just as played as Starcraft still is when it's own proper sequel has been announced (unaccounting for Wow)
This is definitely a great game!!
I still play is sometimes, alone.. of with friends..
The multiplayer mode is awesome!

Yes, and i suspect that alot of people also have this game, though its not due to the actual campeign itself, but people buy it to play dota and other custome games.
I miss good old melee. Now a days its DOTA this DOTA that. I actually like the RTS part of the game. I could do without the heroes. The Game is too hero based. Nothing can compete with Starcraft when it comes to a Strategic game.
I much rather play Starcraft than Warcraft i. I enjoy working with large armies and less micro management rather than a lot of micro management. It's just my playstyle. Also note that I enjoy swarming with Zerg.
