That is f**king awesome. Who cares if it looks sketchy, you obviously put time in it. Plus, I think the sketchiness adds more drama and sorrow to it.
You know how those scary things are sometimes, they have the sketchy look to it, that's why it looks more powerful.

I like the robe but i think you can do way better on your wings. I'm no expert but I've seen alot of pictures like this and i see loads of greatness in this picure its jsut your wings need to look more fitting

Ah yes the wings. Thats true you know, my father criticizes the same (He's an architect who does alot of classic style designs, Romanesque, Baroque, Palladio, etc... for Catholic Churches), the wings is the part my hand least understands since that part calls for soft texture and shade. I'm still trying to fix that but alas... My background in drawing was that of heavy handed drawing so perhaps in time. Thanks for noticing, I really appreciate criticisms.
Well,you never fail to impress me Tertius ^_^ But yes I would have to agree with whitepill on those wings there. They almost look like they're too small, perhaps with the next one you do make the wings a bit bigger? Though this is just my personal thought I think it would look great if you did one with the wings stretched out fully, like he's about to take flight. Nonetheless, nice work and style once again! Keep it up!
Great drawings of the angel of death XD ... very nice atmosphere you have created for him , the clothes , the scythe , ground ... BUT!the sky is too unatural ... which greatly spoiled the drawing
Another part I'm working on is the background. Thanks for bringing that up. I'm still practicing on how to bring depth to the sky... sadly though I got a bit lazy there. Any suggestions? -non photoshop related though... I'm a traditional artist and my personal works will always be in manual drawing and painting.
