Possible submission worthy wall. Critique needed.
Hey everyone.
I started with this screencap.
So I vectored it into version that is basically the same as the original, but in widescreen.
After lots of messing around I decided I wanted to keep within the same color scheme, but then try to and capture some of the fun and forboding of the show. I removed the in between versions to put in this update and changed the title of the thread.
Tell me, What do you think?

Hhhmmm...not bad..
it's a nice wall you got there...your vector is very good...
the only problem I see is your background...well..as you can see it's quite plain and empty..I think you just use gradient on that...well..you better focus your attention on that more..then the logo is good there...so don't removed it...all I can say is just work on more in the background..well..good luck on that wall!!

The background is a little on the plain side, but that doesn't bother me. The scan has been handled very well. So really don't see many problems with this one.

There's a reason the background is plain. It's only because the screen cap has the same background, and I wanted to produce a version of it that is just like the original.
What I thought about doing for the background was putting in a lake with the angel feather motif from the show as a background, but that idea is getting away from me. It's one of those ideas that you know can be done but you're not sure how to do it.
I'll add an update with some of the abstract backgrounds I worked up in a while.

Dunno about the Abstract one (abstraction dosen't work with the anime), but the one with the orange background is very good!
Well, the abstract background wasn't all that good, but it pointed me in the right direction I think.
All the "layers" of heaven are opened to those who believe... Now all I need to do is render a few thousand angel feathers I think =-)

Hhmm...well..if your planning to make an abstarct background you better find some tutorial on it..
