I just logged on because I saw this, I don't get to log on that much because I'm too busy for it right now, but I have to say, this isn't a feature I would find helpful. I don't want to filter out anything because at the end of the day I'm against filtering. All it does is uphold someone's ability to be stupid concerning something they may not like today but might enjoy later, and once it's filtered it takes too many steps to un-filter something so that it shows up... In the end it winds up being useless.
I'd nix this feature. Another thing to consider is, if enough people filter a certain category, does that mean that category becomes a candidate to be deleted? Whole other can of worms I wouldn't want to even come up.

I just looked a bit closer, and I have to say it really just panders to a user's subjective feelings rather than objective thought. "Love" vs. "hate" is just not a good way to rate anything.

Really awesome. We can really tell the guys behind Animepaper.com are working hard to make this more than just an anime gallery site, but really a big community to share not only images but information and ideas with other fans.

Great idea, but as a few others have mentioned, it could deprive people from seeing great works for the series they hate... I'll just keep all of them on for my page. (I wish I could do web coding like you people do)

No. It is entirely a person's opinion on what they love and hate. They can always go back to a series and delete their vote and change to the other side. It does not have any effect on the category whatsoever.

The recommendations thing is pretty cool about it and with many people rating the anime, you can get a fair view on how good the anime is. Maybe in the future though you might introduce a more complex scale than just 'love' and 'hate'.

So anybody know how the love/hate list thing is ordered? Like in a love list of 36 people, I click "love" and I'm inserted in the #6 position? Is it just random where you get placed?
