yea.. you need to work on extracting the scan.. you also need to clean the scan coz it looks bad right now..

some white outlines on the ribbon some little jaggedness on the fingers too, but it's hardly visible^^
i can't help but think it's the quality you saved this wall at...save it at higher quality.
I think anything around 500 kb is fine

Ok, so save it at a better quality. Now, what excactly do you mean by cleaning the scan? And that render thing, too, can you explain? Finnaly extracting... I'll just have to practice a bit more. Thanks for the feedback. ^.^

Yeah your background looks great except the character you put in front looks a litttle bit jagged. I think you should save it at a higher size quality so that it'll look clearer without those jagged bits. Also maybe you should add like a title or something. I think thats what missing in your wallpaper. Anyway good luck your wallpaper looks great. just make those little changes and it'll probably be accepted at AP.

The scan doesnt blend with the bg. Notice how dull the scan is compared to the background's sharp colors. You might want to work on a few effects to make her look as if she wasnt just freshly extracted from the original scan.

Sort out the blending and some part of hair is incomplete/cut off, nice background anyway.

I really like the background that you did. Not too busy, but just right. I actually kind of like the way that the character is separated from the background, something about it is appealing to me, but I can't place it. My only complaint would be the text "Free and Easy". It seems to get lost in the character. Great work for a first though.
Ok, edited colors a bit and re-extracted the image (hope it is good this time) Now, I'm thinking about adding some lightning to every little luminous dot there is on top of her... like blue, green, yellow... all those, whatcha think?
