TOS wall

Try blur the edges of the pitch black stuff (the man, etc)
Yay a TOS wall, and Kratos is so cool too (I've only just started playing it, I'm like 10 hours in!)
Anyway I like what you have done for far it's a very nice feel for a wallpaper and the sillouette style is original for a TOS wallpaper. The colours of the sky are really nice too very well blended, as it the water and the mountains. There are however a couple of things that bother me.
The main one is the amount of black in the bottom halve of the wallpaper. There's so much that at the moment it's making it feel like everything is squished into the top half of the wallpaper, esspecially on the right. If you can maybe try to reduce that black section a bit more and move everything down. It'll just help it feel slightly less restricted and more open.
The other thng that bothers me is the blurryness of the trees/branches in comparison with Kratos and the rocks at his feet. I know that you were trying to get a sense of depth by blurring the branches but Kratos and the rocks are so crisp that it makes it look strange. I think you need to soften up the edges of Kratos and the rocks. Not as much as the branches are blurred but just a little so that it doesn't look quite so weird.
Apart from that I think that's all...
Good luck with the changes and great job so far, I like what you've done ^^

I agree with hmvip. the man seems to have sharp edges compare to the rest of the BG. = )
I would duplicate+then blur and lower opacity instead of directly blur.
the attempt is definitly good. but take more time to manipulate lighting. try make your source brighter.
also, blend the stocks in better because they look just a bit mismatched.

I have only one complain it is too DARK, i know it was a character from TOS but if we haven't play to the game i think it would be difficult to recognize him, otherwise try to blur a little more the scan and the background
finally work a little on the sheets

They don't really blend well. Just blur the character as the others said. I don;t know if it's my imagination but I think you have resized the bg image. It doesn't look really good that way IMO.
Good luck. ^^
Good luck. ^^
