Oh, well. my second try
So, this week I gave it another try. I vectorized the whole thing except the sky. O_o it took me a while to get the sky to this last form, but I kinda like it this way.
It's not so complex, all in all. But when I saw that battle scene, I really liked it and I thought it could make a nice wall.
So here it is:

Are those things in the background trees? I can't really tell, or maybe it's my lack of imagination ^^;
Also, the black...things look a little blurry to me. And so does the yellowish outline....

It's a nice start, but the thing is...the font section is way too random.
either get rid of the evangelion text or the black one, i think it will look so much better^^ imho
not sure about the glow, and just somehow the bg doesn't seem to fit the vector.
possibly vector the faces and all that stuff, then give it a clean or painted feel afterwards?

Damn, i can't really understand what you mean :-?. I'll give it a try with the fonts, though.
And what do you mean by "vectoring the faces"? ... um.. what faces?
And about the blurres and all, I kinda wanted them to be that blurred, but.. oh, well, if it doesn't look good, i'll make some changes ^^
The emboss effect on the characters - I'm unsure of that. Try to make it softer or replace with another such effect. I suppose you have the original characters; try to add them softly ofer the black sprites.

It's too much blur on this wall, and whats all the fonts uder the big Font?
the glow really don't fit and pleace get ride of the whole filter you have used on the whole wall, filters just get used to the detail thing...
you have to make some detail on the main chara. victor, because it's really difficult to understand what it's there.. when i saw the wall first time, i just saw trees 0_0..

Now, you! I didn't use any filters... really.
I think it would be really hard to vector their facial features, because the screenshot I used doesn't have that kind of detail.
I said I would make them less blurry and stuff. If that text doesn't match, any other opinions on that?
I think if would vector facial features, it would ruin the lighting effect created by the sunset and all. And the major point of the wall was that of black silhouettes... I mean.. that was my idea of the wallpaper
Anyway, I hope i'll post the new version soon, but I'm actually kinda busy since I have to go to school even on saturday... ( there was a school strike and we have to catch up with classes and stuff.. bleah.. )
It looks nice~ maybe get rid of the embossing? i really like your idea ^^ i was planning on doing wallpaper like that for tsubasa... inspiration came to me when i was eating at TGI Fridays last week XD

If you really can't do the face then, i would seriously suggest getting rid of the yellow glow.
you may also try making the bg just a bit brighter, or a bit darker so it fits in.
bright-so all we see is the silhouettes because light is hitting from behind
dark-so it's overall dark feel

IT's a better example i think, and you can see because behind it's so bright and it's night that the character, almost just have a silhuoette except for their beady red eyes~~

Hmm the wall needs to be a bit Sharper as of now it's really blurry...the background I like but the outer/inner glow on the Vector needs to go o_OMaybe you could blur the edges of the vector so it looks smoother...
