Hard to feel sorry for Yoshida...
8 months 1 week ago
Is it just me, or is it getting harder and harder to feel sorry for Yoshida-san? She keeps on complaining that there is nothing she can do to help Yuji, but Margery's boys are in the same boat. Besides, just letting Yuji know that he has support should be enough help in and of itself. I never really cared for her character before, but the constant 'Woe is me" has got to stop. Hopefully the item gifted her in the recent episode will get her out of her mopey mood.

Omg, I totally agree with you, joe191.
I've never really liked her (and it's somewhat obvious that she and Yuji'll never get together anyways). I honestly despise how she whines about everything. She cries, she whines, she challenges Shana, and she's a burden to everyone else. But I guess every anime has to have someone like that.

Yeah she's just kinda there, but heh she's basically Shana's inspiration to push on and win Yuji over even more.twinklexinOmg, I totally agree with you, joe191. Lol. I agree with you on how she just sorta gets in the way. I wish Ike would just confess to her so she can be with him instead.
On the other hand she is great in Shana-tan. lol

Yeah once she "hopefully" gets together with Ike, she'll become a, well, less annoying character.Day2DreamLol. I agree with you on how she just sorta gets in the way. I wish Ike would just confess to her so she can be with him instead. On the other hand she is great in Shana-tan. lol
Yeah, Kazumi is falling farther and farther behind. I don't think she has any chance of catching up to Shana anymore in this love race to win Yuji.

Yoshida is only a good character in the shanatan eps, ike obviously confesses eventually because if you look at the intro (the first one) it has ike and yoshida in that sort of mood.

I love it when kids in highschool treat their crushes like they're the only person in the entire world that is meant for them. Like the person they fall in love with in Sophomore year of highschool is the person they actually marry and spend the rest of their life with. Because that totally happens in real life. Anyway, I'm totally rooting for Yuji and Shana.
Well if Yuji and Kazumi ended up together, then something is wrong with the story. Seriously in every story like this, the author almost has to write it with certain characters getting together, otherwise they are at risk of being murdered. Yeah pretty much.Poppasan13I love it when kids in highschool treat their crushes like they're the only person in the entire world that is meant for them. I think I'm probably one of the few people that actually like Kazumi. Though, I do have to agree with everyone else. I feel for her, but I certainly don't feel sorry for her at times. I've only completed the first season, but even now it's obvious that she's actually AIDING Shana in the love triangle. I think it hurts to watch even more so because I've been in a similar boat to Kazumi, but at least I've tried >_>. It's evident that she does deeply care, but the lack of confidence in herself and the obvious focus on the creator of the series to use Kazumi to advance the love between Shana and Yuji just makes it even more frustrating @__@.
I adore her as a character..but certainly not what she does sometimes. Then again, I think I've always had a soft spot for that sorta character, where their stuck in between. I look forward to the day to where writers choose to abandon the stereotypical 'third wheel' and actually have a secondary character have a fighting chance in a relationship, rather than the secondary character simply further the relationship between the main characters. Maybe that's just me though.

Oh well I wasn't saying I don't like her, she just gets in the way. I at least wish Ike would confess to her because he definitely deserves her. I guess we have something in common with the fact that I too have been in a love triangle before and I lost. With that in mind I do still have some knowledge of how Kazumi would be feeling in this situation.CrimsonCyanideI think I'm probably one of the few people that actually like Kazumi. I dunnu, I've been together with my high school sweetheart for 6 years since and engagement is already under our radar
. OFF TOPIC *ahem*.Though, about Kazumi, same notion; I find myself feeling sorry for her at times, but it does drag on. I'm just generally forgiving of writers. I just want Shana and Yuji together NOW
I'm a sucker for cute romance.
I'm a huge sucker for romance manga and anime, but if the anime is supposed to be an action series then too much romance will become a hinderence to it. Basically Shana is an action anime and season two had way too much romance filler before getting into the action. Plus the filler didn't really have any good romantic scenes at all anyways.8ballI dunnu, I've been together with my high school sweetheart for 6 years since and engagement is already under our radar

I totally agree with you on both being a sucker for the high school romance and the fact that shana is an action series before a romance series, the action is back now so thats good.
