Hey everyone!
I need help on my wallpaper. It looks weird, but I'm not so sure what to fix.
I want to portray the character in the moonlight so she's a bit brighter than the surroundings.

I guess it looks weird because it doesn't look like night sky at all...try darkening the sky and changing the color of the trees a bit, maybe a blueish tone?
Same here, but...
- I think the sky looks more like a photo or a painting
- I also think that the scan doesn't seem to be very clean, and finally...
- I don't think it's a good idea to change the colors of the trees, it would make them look like the sky

I used a texture... so that's why you might think it seems a bit unclean. XD
But now I added in rays of light and since the scan darkened, I lighted my her lantern.
And I darkened up the sky, too. ^^

I dont think that the "blurryed effect" fits with her...its too bright at some parts and too dark at others. The idea is good but it can be better. Try geting the blurryed off and improve the bg...its kind plain, looks too real. Her outline is fading too...I dont see her fingers and almost dont see her nose.

Idea's nice but the scan is too brightly lit. it's so bright that some of the outline gets lost in the whiteness. i think tuning down the brightness would be a good idea. however, even if that is done, she is still way too well lit to be in the moonlight. nighttime walls should be darker, but maybe you can just not mention the moonlight part and leave it at a brightness half way between day and night.
anyway, there are a lot of gold specks in the bg. are those supposed to be stars? i don't get them otherwise. well, they are too uniformly spread and too dense to look like proper stars. if they aren't stars...i'm just lost. yeah. well, good luck with your wall. ^^

Oops darken the clouds too...and the sky as well just a bit more, not the whole wall.
And I agree it looks too unclean... it kind of looks cool as a texture, but on her skin it doesn't look too well.
Also, the new font you chose is much better. ^^
Well, maybe changing he colot of the trees wasn't a good idea, but they could use a bit of depth I don't know, thye just look kind of plain... maybe some shadowing would do the trick?

I did a lot of darkening... XD
I still left the rays there, because that's how I want that. I definitley decreased the numbers stars, but I might need to fix it more. >_> I decided to delete the texture permantely because staring at it too much made me realize it did look unclean. Thanks guys. I added in blue tones and darken up the clouds and sky. Also had to color in part of the cloud to make it less "real".
Ah Astrologica-san, I tried to do something with the trees... but I just decided to color it in black. >_<

Black trees look better than the brown ones as well...
um, I spotted some jagged lines on her the left side of her head... and I like the light rays, don't give up on them.
Also, I wonder... why are the birds shining? Are those some transgenic birds that glow in the dark or just magic birdies? o.o
