Well, from what I saw, it's actually pretty good [extra props for that]. It is a little simple on the background and the text seems to kinda draw away from the main picture so maybe you could fade it out a little? I'd also try to smooth out the outlines around the girl if possible at all because it looks a little jagged.

Yes, amount of the text was exactly large, and I removed. And I had been sure that my sign hide with a default task-bar on Windows, but my sign became smaller than before to make sure for user.
I added some shape and a monitor. It made it straight.
What do you think.

• Well… I’m not quite sure about your wallpaper. It does look finish but there is something a miss in it.
1) I don’t like the “map-thing”.
2) You should definitively keep the circles BG (of your first link).
3) There are some rough edges on the “ears” of the vectored scan.
• But there’s still something missing… I still don’t know what exactly ( maybe some other user might know what it is ;) ).

I returned to the circles, added some hexagons, and re-vectored all of her " ears". So, edges became somewhat smooth.
