Are they really think about the Evangelion move? I wounder what it'll be like if they creat it. Any one think that they willl make another movie. But this one real. It will be nice to see.

I just saw that anime a few days ago. It the end was soo confusing. Anyone understand the ending..
The movie was created because the director received death threats with the crappy ending to the series.. well some thought it was crappy... Basically they redid the ending in the movie i think.. the original ending was sort of a mental thing in which Shinji learns to love himself.. and everyone claps for him... -_- yeah so this series was never about the Angels or the Impact, but rather Shinji growing up.. so a fit ending no? Well if you didn't like it, the alternate ending is full of blood...

In the end, the Gate of...erm...I forgot. It was the Gate to the Hall of Birth or something like that, right? It opens and humans revert to a sea of LCL and enter it.

If the end of evangalion was considered a movie...well it was one hell of a confusing movie...

it left me high, dry and depressed...
i watched it 3 times to try and understand it...but came away feeling cheated after everytime...

If you want Evangelion true ending, stick with the series ending as its much more fitting, I won't analyse Eva as its too long to explain all. The movie ruined what the series created, it was horrible and like many of you said was completely confusing. It also doesn't make sense once you actually figure out what eva is about

That was what I was told when I watch Evangelion on VCD in 2001. I wonder if any ppls here know what's VCDs.
Anyway, even I watch the 2 movies, I still don't get it, so I kind of give up on it. Think I am a bit small to watch it anyway at that time.

IMO, the End of Evangelion (EoE) is a telling of what happened in the outside world during episodes 25 and 26 of the TV series. While Shinji was cocooned inside EVA-01 as seen in the EoE, the series is actually narrating what was going on in his mind at that time.
When he finally accepted himself and everyone clapped around him (in the series), that was when he was able to return back to earth as shown in EoE.
