InuYasha-Who's Sesshomaru's mother? Oo

I've always wondered about this. I mean, you know who the father is, and you know InuYasha had a human mother, but nobody ever mentions Sesshie's mom. Did she die? Did he kill her for some reason [the dad or Sesshie]. Its like he just kinda popped in outta nowhere. It's possible something happened in an episode I never saw, but if somebody knows, please fill me in.

I'm not sure either, that question has bothered me for sometime now. I've always wondered that very question many times but and just forgot about it. They should made a special episode or movire or something to answer this question. If anybody knows, please fill me in too.

Well theres three things we know about Sesshomaru's mom. One: She had purple stripes all over her body. Two: She had a moon on her forehead. Three: She was a full demon. (Most likely dog)
Other then that we know nothing about her, and I doubt we ever will for that matter.
My guess is that she was an assassin, since Sesshomaru's name mean's "Killing perfection". The great leader of the Inuyoukai, and the misterus assassin. *Shrugs*
The other odd thing about Sesshomaru's parents is that we don't know either of their names. Inu no taisho (which is what his father is normaly called) means "Leader of the Inuyoukai" "Lord of the west." "Great dog leader" (So to speak, it has so many variations of it, but you get my point.) But its not his REAL name. So we are at a loss in many ways, of the key facts about both his parents, and what make Sesshomaru, Sesshomaru.

The manga isn't done yet so thats why they ended the series kinda funny. They can't go any further because the manga is now caught up with the anime. Oh well. But I have good news, not only did I save money on my car insurance, but the 4th movie is set to be released on August 1st of this year :D *Happy dance*.

I haven't a clue on that... they might've said in the manga, but I haven't gotten to read those...
As for the anime, I heard that they would make an OVA to finish the series off, but then again they did say that they MIGHT have the manga just finish it which would really tick a few people off (those people that can't get ahold of the mangas)

So far they actually never say anything relaly about Sessho's past so no one really knows.

Wow, this is an interesting question. WEll the first thing we can conclude is that his mom would have to be a demon because sesshoumarou is a full demon. The other thing is why did his dad go with this particular demon, what was so special about her and so forth.
Also, my other question is why then did he fall in love with Inuyasha's human mother? Was it an affair?
Unfortunately I wonder if this question will ever be answered since the anime series is now finished.

Could it be that Sesshoumaru's mom was chosen for the Inu no Taisho?? Like by the Elders or something, and it wasn't his own decision...
I hope more information about Sesshoumaru will be revealed in future installments of the manga.

I hope so as well. I just got my mother to let me buy the Manga >_> took her forever, oh well.
