I just want to know what people think of this it's for a portfolio i need to make for College.

I recomend to you to do the text "the original..." (the one down digital media)smaller ti fit it only in the black area, and don´t use uppercase on the word "original",use uppercase or lowercase,If you want that the word original can be distinguise from all the text then change it´s color, maybe red or a gray will look fine. there´s also an emty space at the right side of the top ten of photoshop and it looks like in design we call "air" but it´s not a good air, besides the word photoshop it´s in front of dunno what´s that on the cpu and it looks weird, you better take it off, it´s making visual noise. and that´s all, hope this can help you, trust me, I´m graphic designer, I know about this things (maybe doesn´t looks on my walls hahah ah! whatever) ^^

Where says THE ORIGINAL... it's awful you can change the letter and the size for best admiration.

Get rid of the fire on the word "hot". if i saw a digital media magazine that showed that kind of text on it, and then offered photoshop tips inside, i would avoid it at all costs.
and watch how you distort your text. The way it looks now is cheesy and in some cases unreasonable. There a limit to how much you can distort text before it starts to look awful.
if you want it to look professional, you need better photos, too. high quality cameras make a big difference. Some cheap $200 camera is no where near the quality of even the cheapest DSLR (digital single-lense reflex) camera. i would use some stock photos from sxc.hu. it'll make world of difference.

I don't care what you do with the rest of it since I don't have any experience in this area but it's "artists" not "artist's" and it's "startling" not "startaling".


And Photoshop tutorials that will validate your existence?? What am I supposed to be getting out of this?

I think the top is actually alright.. but the rest is kind of cluttered.. plus I'm also not sure I'd want to get any nearer to a magazine that just shows the inside of a computer. It's certainly not too attractive for me. This probably isn't helping you out much.. sorry about that >__<
