Ah yes, I know i may displease some people with this but i am getting really anoyed with shows like DBZ and Inuyasha because they cant ever end! Even if they havent made new epasodes than they are probable making a movie or planing a new season or making a game you know! I cant be the only one irritated am i?! Many awsome anime have been ruined by this sort of thing!
Huh? Dragonball ended 9-10 years ago, I don't know what you're talking about o.o
A good example would be Pokémon. Pokémon is already 10 years in the air, and is far from ending. This will be the longest Anime ever [If it's not already].
Another example is Saint Seiya. The manga ended many many years ago, but it revived, and know we have like 3 different mangas, OVAs of the Hades saga, and a future release of the Heaven saga.
To end, Hunter X Hunter. This one will never end, because the last manga chapter, number 260, was released almost one year ago. The mangaka is very sick, and it seems it will never conitnue it.

It's true that some titles do go past their prime. That's why I get pretty annoyed when others demand a second season or movie after a certain show has at least had a decent ending. Just leave it be and watch something else.
I'm getting annoyed that Pokemon isn't gonna end, I don't mind Inuyasha not ending although it did but Pokemon!
I read parts of the Inuyasha manga and watched a little bit of anime. Loved it. Inuyasha > Pokemon :D
200+ eps is too long.
Whereareas, 12 eps is too short.
I want an anime that goes for 24 or 55 eps. That's a good amount.
And Pokemon is tons better than Inuyasha. Rumiko Takahashi works are all boring.

Well I guess Doreamon, Pokemon and Detective Conan are Top Contenders of the longest series ever. One Piece, Bleach and Naruto are potential contenders in the future.
I mean I'm not sure whether Doraemon is still airing, but in Thailand they have shown a movie lately, I don't know it's main Title, because I can't read Thai so good...
I haven't seen Detecitive Conan for a while,... but whatever is happening right now, it must be kick-azz. I can't watch it anymore, for I already have my main programmes in Naruto, One Piece and Bleach already.

Animes like Doreamon and Nintama Rantaro are different since they are just random episodes, I like them :)

Well just to let you know i wasnt target ing DBZ spacificly! I actually like the show but regardless of when they stoped making new epasodes and movies i think things like Bio-Broli are going just a bit to far! Not to mention that the show started when Goku was a kid(im talking about Dragon Ball and if your thinking, hay DBZ and Dragon Ball are totaly different than your what Carlos Mencia would call "DE DEDEEE") so ya DBZ has been out for a long time! As for pokemon i completely agree with everyone, Ash cant still be a pre-pubesant 14 year old boy!
DBZ kept going because it was such a popular series at the time. Originally the creator wanted to end the series after the cell Saga but he got pressured into keeping the series going. I don't know the case with Pokemon but I do agree that it needs to conclude... soon.

I must agree quite thoroughly. You may have also noticed that series like those get rather repetitive. "Naraku is dead! No wait, he's alive and he's got the jewel again! New incarnation! New incarnation! We found his castle! No wait, it moved again! NO NO NO! KIKYO IS ALIVE WEEEEEE, wait, no Kikyo's dead. WAIT! She's alive! No wait, she's dead again! *cries* No wait, Kikyo's still alive."

Yes it's kind of annoying some times. It generally happens for Manga-Series. in the manga it's all great, the magic is always there, but in the anime.. not so so. But it can't be helped, show aren't continued because they may have quality in them, it's all about how fanatic the fanbase is.
Shows like Naruto even in filler were up there in the top 10 spots, as far as ratings go.

I know a few great series that had only 13 pes :'( some even less. (6 eps)
The worst thing is that there's material but because they have to end it in 13 eps they generally have to push everything in the last 2-3 eps. It's like answers after answers after answers.. if only they stretched them a lil' to do it right.
