So as well all are now assuming (or know I guess you could say) Lulu is not dead. This could mean a third season especially since MOST characters seemed to come back/not stay dead who really seemed to die during the final battles.

However the ending of this season unlike the first one really felt like a complete ending. A whole new season without Shirley at all would make me sad too : (

I know that the show is most likely over (unless I'm missing some big announcement), I just want to hear what you guys would have to say about a new season.

I don't think we'll be getting a third season any time soon (or any time at all for that matter). What would happen in a third season? We'd just get to see Lulu and CC traveling the world, Susaku being stuck with oh-so-adorable Nunnaly, and Orange-kun in his orange plantation. There'd be no main plot, none as exciting as the first two.
However, an OVA would be just fine. It could tie a few loose ends, (like CC's real name) and just describe more deeply the lives of the different characters. I, for one, would LOVE to see Kallen's life in more detail.

I would never want to say never, but I would be very surprised, and likely disappointed, if there was a 3rd season. There just does not seem to be any way they can do it without devaluing the events of the first 2, unless it was a light-hearted spinoff (in the vein of FMP Fumoffu). And as much as I'd love to see more of Kallen, Nunnally, and Orange jokes (one of my favorite moments from R2 was actually when Jeremiah's incoming call showed up as "Orange" on Lelouch's screen), I don't think it'd work nearly as well, as CG didn't have nearly as much focus on the comedy, even in the first season (and in R2 there was just about none).

Lulu is most likely the guy riding the car that CC is sitting in during the epilogue, so yeah he's not dead. I guess you're right though that another season would ruin it like most shonen shows, but I would really like an AMV, not sure of what though, any ideas?

An AMV? I think you mean OVA, right? A music video would be nice I guess (depending on the song), but I think it would be awesome if they made an OVA for Geass where we would finally learn C.C.'s name, a question still left unanswered even after the last episode...

Hmm, well I really would love to explore the universe of this anime more but I don't think it's possible to progress a story without putting a devalue on the past two seasons.

But if an extension were to happen,
I'd like to see it as sort of a parallel story rather
than a continuation which they can pull off with a different
subname. Like changing the "Rebellion of Lelouch" to some other cool title
And go into the devolpement of a side character's or something
and have cameo's of the more familar characters here and there

or make one ANIMATED movie like a GW: Endless Waltz kinda deal...

But those are just my ideas, don't flame me for not being a professional writer

I dun't think there would be a third season since the second season ending doesn't seem much like a cliff hanger and there isn't anything to do anymore because the world is at peace and the only thing they can show in the third season is lulu (which seems alive) and c.c's life after the war which isn't very interesting

Well......Like most said, I don't think there would be a third season. There was already an ending, and there wouldn't be anymore conflict in the story since there was already closure.

Perhaps the ending of Code Geass R2 was more or less a perfect one. The emotions running high the twists in plot almost every episode... I found it great. From a business point of view I can definitely see another season. You guys may not like it but I would not mind at all. You guys may also think that there is no where for this anime to go if there were to be a third season but I'm sure if they really wanted to, they could write a new exciting story. Although I think if there was a third season it would be when lelouch and karen have grown up lets say 3-5 years. That way a new plot can be "developed" in the time since lelouch allegedly died.

But this is all my point of view I think there will be a third season IF not then perhaps a movie or something to properly end it off. The end of this season just didnt feel like a proper ending.

Then again I am one of the sentimental anime viewers who grow attached to almost all the animes I watch and always end up wanting to be in that world a little longer...

An OVA would be nice, since I didn't think it felt right that everyone Lelouch helped out think of him so horribly. The close knit group should know of what he did for world peace, at least. Maybe something like Suzaku telling them about what Lelouch planned.
