This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well, there are thousands of website to download anime but the transfer speeds of them are quite different.First will you please tell me where you are?
I often download anime from http://www.ktkj.com and http://www.manmi.com.But now I use BT and E-donkey more, because their speed is faster and collection is more than the traditional HTTP dowload.

Well, there is always bittorrent, the shareware program, but if you don't trust that there are lots of animes uploaded on youtube.com, most of the animes uploaded there are listed on keiichianimeforever.com

I use Azureus to download anime. It's just like Bittorrent where you upload and download the files, so it takes a little longer but it's free. You can find links to lots of anime torrents at http://www.animeyume.org/ If you don't mind paying to download anime you can go to http://www.anime-direct.com/ That's what my friend uses. She pays $10 for the month and they have a lot of anime available to download.

The p2p system works pretty well for me. I suggest downloading a bittorent client like Azureus or BitTornado to download anime shows. After dowloading a Bittorrent client, you could download anime shows from Animesuki which has links to so many anime shows to download I don't even know how many. May I suggest downloading shows like Bleach, Air, Mai Otome, Gakuen Alice, and others that you think look ok after you take a look at them on a website like Anime News Network's Anime Encyclopedia.

There truly are a ton of sites out there to download anime and just about anything else particularly if you use BT like recommended from some of the other folks. These programs are very easy to use and good use of resources. You can also find a great deal of downloads available from folks on IRC.

I won't list any sites for downloading but honestly simply using google and the term anime and bittorrent will get you tons. LoL Please respect copyrights however, don't download anime that are available in the US no matter how tempting it is. Support the creators and buy/rent dvds for the licensed series!

what's vcd?

it stands for Video CD. it's basically a video on a CD. similar to DVD but of lower quality because it is encoded as .MPEG file into digital binary form (.DAT) which can be played using media player classic. we have those here in asia (most common in china and philippines).

but because of poor quality, it has been deprecated due to its poor quality... and also one of the reasons is because DVD discs are becoming cheaper because of piracy.

back on topic, if you want free downloads, you can go to any torrent sites and search for any anime torrents. there are a lot out there. or you can also visit fansub websites to check out their latest releases...

So for all who knows how to use torrents, www.mininova.org has a fairly good collection. some of the torrents come from animesuki.com but some ya dont find on animesuki.com its mostly english but has also different other subs like spanish and french etc. and i dont know if it still is alive but if ya want complete anime boxes try www.boxtorrents.com *feels evil*
