Hi, this is probably to simple for most of you... not even sure if it ain't to simple for me(no way, nothing is to simple for me :hehe: )
As I gather from the past few days browsing the forum this wall is an example of the most common newbie problem - I lack idea for the background. But hey, I got orange to fill the space :P All suggestions will be warmly welcome, please don't make them too complex, I lack the drawing skills to fullfill your visions, honourable masters. :halo:

As for the real wall, what colour would it be... the classroom walls in my last school were...sadly...(drumroll) exactly orange.
I'll try fixing the image and the blackboard behind her.
The chalkboard is ingenious. I love all the sayings on it. Keep it for sure. You can keep the yellow background, but you might want to consider adding a floor of sorts so the character isnt just hovering there. Adding some wall lines wouldnt hurt either. ;)
Can some1 show me a pic of a classroom cause I'm not sure our look like yours?

For me the idea is more or less everything, cause I really suck when it comes to drawing and my brother(the true artist) just moved 500km away. I'll do my best anyway and if that doesn't work I'll give the idea to some1 else to realize...
So for the first revision I'll have to:
fix Rukia abit
draw a floor
some wall perhaps although that means changing the whole background which in return get me with alot of pixels to fill
I'm unhappy with the "Back to School" text style so that will have to be revised too
Shit, all I have is a chalkboard...lame 1st try, but I'll get it done.

You already know what you have to add/change (wall, floor, cleaner picture of Rukia). Maybe you could also add that ledge where they put the erasers and the chalk. :) You could also try making the frames of the chalkboard look like real wood. Something like the wood here - http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/bullbd/bullbd2.htm
And maybe you could change the title to "Detention." XD
