No!! NO!
They Should just LEAVE IT in japan! Now all the cartoon network junkies will be able to watch bleach, thus degrating the series to low level anime fans, like all the fans who only watch FMA, Inuyasha, and "American" Naruto and think its the best in the world cuz thats all they can see and all they're ABLE to see.
And to make it worse...Viz... . THEY BETTER NOT HIRE SHI*TY V.O.'s And EDIT out ANYTHING like they did to Naruto in Bleach!! And THEY BETTER NOT MESS WITH THE OPENINGS AND ENDINGS EITHER! D-TECNOLIVE AND ASTERISK ARE AWESOME!
The only good thing about this is that there are gonna be more shirts and stuff now that its in america. And i could brag to all the Bleach 'Cartoon Network only" Newbs that ive seen that episode 200 times already and you havent seen it yet...BUT STILL!

And if it does air on Cartoon Network, it should least be on after midnight on Adult Swim. It better not be on Toonami or Miguzi... or ill kill my self...

Yeah Bleach isn't known for its captivating dialogue, but it doesn't suck. It's better than most japanese animes out there I think. And I expect it to not suck when it gets dubbed in english. The actors better be matched with the characters right, and the tones and expressions better be on cue. The only anime that i think the English versions are better than the Japanese versions are Cowboy Bebop, and Full Metal Panic. English Naruto and Tenjho Tenge were screwed up pretty badly, and yeah... I just hope that Bleach doesn's share the same fate, and is dubbed good and doens't ruin the anime. Thats all im trying to say...

I bet most of these people could care less about the dubbing, but are more worried about whether or not a group will still sub it. Personally, I don't care. Dattebayo will probably continue subbing, and having Bleach licensed and distributed State-side makes it easier for me to buy the DVDs.
Remember: Fansubbing is meant to encourage purchase when the series in question is licensed.

Well I am still going to watch it in Japanese... But the mere thought of them murdering another good anime is...>_< As long as is better than One Piece's dub, I won't be TOO mad...
It remans to be seen. Sometimes they've done good jobs with the translations- In my opinion they did great with Cowboy Bebop and Samurai X.
Personally with action shows I think the english version can be better, especially if it's fast paced, because its nice not to have to read subtitles.
However, when the censor the good stuff, that just sucks.

This....well, is just wrong. The only way this will be good if it goes uncut onto adult swim. Then They need some Very good V.A's Unlike the, well, Sucky V.A.'s for naruto. Also, keeping the Opening and ending themes are a must, I mean they left it for Fma And Inu but i mean the naruto opening/closing is the biggest letdown about it. So what i'm trying to say is that They better leave bleach as it is and just get Awsome V.A's!
If it's on Cartoon Network - even if it's after midnight, it'll still suck big time. Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist were pretty bad...I love Bleach and hope it's still going to be fansubbed if only because I wouldn't want to wait for a couple of years to catch up to episode 70 something...it doesn't mean I won't buy the dvds but I'd rather watch it first fansubbed like most of the anime series I own on dvds.
