First attempt at a paper
1 Page: [ 1 ]

I'm actually really scared to post it here for some reason... lol
Sooo here is my first attempt at a paper. Made the lineart from a scan. Made the rest of the thing. Something about it bugs me though, I'm not too sure. Maybe its the whole background since I really didn't know what to do. Its supposed to be a picture frame (an old picture from the 20s) sitting on a table in a kitchen.
not too sure. what do you guys think?
oh crap i realized i have the address for ap wrong in the sig. ill change it with my next update
Pretty cool idea. I would just fix the picture a little. It's a little to contrastsed and I can't view their faces. I would also put a place matt of some sort under the picture (so the picture is resting on top of it). Do those 2 things then post and I'll tell you what I think.

Yup! This is a pretty cool idea ^^ I like what you've done so far! Ok, so as imPanda mentioned about the scan being too contrasted at the top of the frame, is that your lighting? Hmm not being rude or anything like that, but if that's your lighting I don't see a lamp or anything, and since it's a kitchen there wouldn't be a lamp.
Here is what I suggest, adding maybe a fruit bowl to the table, making the frame and scan smaller and have the frame sort of 'rest' on the fruit bowl if you get what I mean XD Nonetheless it's a nice wallpaper! Keep it up! Good luck with the improvements! ^^

Nice idea for a wall =)
I like imPanda's idea for a place mat...that should work. I also think the lighting isn't really "coming" from anywhere...unless you can make some source of lighting you should take that off. Also teh picture in the frame is too bright you might want to add more contrast to the lines so we can make out the picture.
g'luck with your wallpaper

I think you should made the pic clearer
It looks to cg right now. its pretty cool though... maybe a texture overlay will fix the problem
like version one better...dont forget to add a little asthetic (or however you spell it) detail in the bg...something that will give it more of a personal touch...what would some random person have on his/her round little table?

Hmm i know you probly allredy put a lot of work in the the table and floor but it seems weird that the pic would just be siting there.....on its back.....in the kitcken...
what if you tryed ~this~ i think that would add a lot more feeling to the wall..and then we could see mor pictures of them ..i bet you could find some cool ones ^_^
good luck , i hope i helped ya and wasent two meen ...

I think... mat, but don't make it too red. if you're making it wood. or else make it a differnet color totaly and not wood..like..black.. or somthing.
overall. prettynice, even though the table is a bit grainy.o.O
goood luck!
