Well, that's my first attempt at submit a wallpaper, so first, I would like to know your opinion.
Is there something that don't fit, the colors, the composition..whatever!

Nice job for first time!
the brushes at the top are just a bit uneven
i've never seen thescan or the series so i don't know what it's about but from what it looks , it's pretty good
the big fonts are just a bit hard to read
the little fonts are ..ok...(i don't like them because of a certain stereotyping) sooo, that's just me
there are some extraction problems and i also don't know what the bg is depicting..it's hard to tell because of the face on the right covering it and then some faded black places

Yes, you did a great job on you're first wall. my husband is gonna love this one, he really like brian as well, that's who he usually plays.
i actually like the small text, it's suits the wall. i agree the big text is alittle hard to read but the font type you picked suits the wall as well. the extraction could be alittle smoother. i'm not sure i like the "fog" on the wall, does it serve a purpose? cuz if it doesn't then i'm thinking maybe get rid of it. besides that i really like the layout of your wall and the images are nice.

Umm, ok.
Following the changes you have suggested i've put another font to the big title, I've removed 'the fog' (No, this does not serve any propose, it's just that maybe I saw it a little bit empty...)
I also made a version with a few changes in the bg. I leave the 2 versions.

I've made a new version; I've changed the bg and put some effects in the left character. What do you think about it?

Looks just like 95% of fighting games wallpapers (full view + face + big name), but I like it. Nice effects too.
Too bad I don't like Fury ;D I'd rather see Yoshimitsu (SC2 version ;d).

You should really use imageshack to upload your wps. photobucket has already deleted most of your other walls.
i really like this version (don't know what the one you submitted looked like cuz it's gone). the green effect coming off him totally looks awesome. to match up the grey dotted line around his hand, maybe have one going around his eye as well? i don't think the blood splatters are necessary. i think the bg is still the major issue with this wall. you could make it look more techy or make it look like how it would in the game when you're choosing a character. also, you could play up the blood even more and have it behind the characters and have a whole lot more of it (i think having it on the scans is what's throwing me off).
i can't remember if there was any effects on the big text. i like that it's smaller and i can read it but now it's too plain. just grey isn't enough. i have absolutely no idea how to work gradients but you could make a gradient on the text.
definitely make sure you post your updates here first until everyone is basically in agreement that the wall is done. it really sucks losing those papers when you don't have many to begin with. sometimes it's hard to patient and wait for people to reply, but it's always worth it in the end ;)

Well, first of all, it's better to upload on to imageshack because then the wallpaper usually stays on there forever

This time I've changed the bg again -`´- and I've put some gradient to the big text; I've added a border on the little text to make it more visible and i I've done a little circle in his eye just like in his hand.
One thing, blu3angl, about the purple effect, you don't like it because of the color or it's that just don't fit in the wp?

Mmmm the big face doesn't match the bg a lot...i think the big face should blend a little with the bg...
the text need some more style i think, to simple....maybe some futuristic effects, some boxes for the texts, i don't know, think about it....

the text is somewhat better, but how aboutmake it unitalisized?

around his pants, there's a unextracted white part there
seems like you've also cut off some of the round (bullet?/battery looking) stuff that's supposed to go around his leg

The bg could be interesting. it's alittle too faint and hard to see. maybe make it alittle more pronounced. i agree with edibomb, the big face could be blended into the bg better. he's too vibrant, maybe play around with the opacity. i also know there's a tutorial somewhere on good-tutorials.com about blending.
i totally didn't notice his leg...too busy starring at the purple effect (which i like ;P). it seems there's a tie on the purple thing (technically it's up to you) but i wouldn't mind hearing someone else's opinion on it besides just me and blu3angl.

Ok,
new version. I've put more color on the bg, I've extracted the white parts on the pants, the face has a little blend; the big text has a 3D effect. And I cleared some purple effects, but I resist to clear all them ¬¬
I haven't cut anything, the image was thus :)
