Fort Minor
I was just listening to some Fort Minor and thought,hmm wonder if anyobdy else on AP listens to them?I started listening to them before the end of last year,I like them a lot.Any personal thoughts on them,etc.?
I listen to them once in a while. Their alright because their genre is similar to Linkin Park and i like Linkin Park music. My favourite songs from them are "Remember The Name", "Believe Me" and "Where You Go". "Remeber The Name" roxs cause i couldn't stop listening to it for almost a week, seriously a mad song.
I got into them at the beginning of this year. Just watching some video music TV then this song started playing. Seriously a great song which started it all. ^_^

I was introduces to fort minor through my sister.
We both like Linkin park but I'm still of the opinion that they shoudn't have started fort minor.
Linkin Park has a terrific sound and now it's just gone water away.

I first heard their song "Believe Me" and I just started liking them. It's not only because of their music, but their lyrics mean so much more. It's not just a typical band which talks about the same thing over and over again and that's what I like most about them. I really like their other song "Where'd You Go"... it's got so much meaning to it..and of course the beat of the music is really cool.

A lot of people I know love "Where'd You Go." Personally, the meaning behind it is nice, but in general I don't like the song. I guess I just don't like the beat. I listened to the CD, and well, it didn't do anything for me. I guess you could say I didn't like it. Right now I'm just waiting for a new Linkin Park CD.
I find that some of the rhymes are really pathetic. Some are so bad, I think I could have come up with them in kindergarten. But yeah, they're alright...not great.
I like them XD. I've always been a Linkin Park fan, and I always hoped for Mike to split with the band. I dunno, I guess I just like his style. I always wanted him to make his own CD XD. I like, The Hard Way, Remember The Name, High Road, and Where'd You Go. But yeah, I hope Linkin Park is still making new songs though cuz they were just plain awesome.
Fort Minor is awesome. =D "Kenji" is a very good song, really tells a story and serves as a reminder to how horrible war is. All their other songs are good too; "Where'd You Go", "Petrified", "Red to Black", etc.
Fort Minor is NOT a project by Linkin Park and doesn't sound like Linkin Park. It is a side project started solely by Mike Shinoda and is intended to be a solid Hip-Hop album. I think some of it has a real good sound. If you are only listening to Fort Minor because you're a rock fan who loves Linkin Park, I think you'll be dissapointed.We both like Linkin park but I'm still of the opinion that they shoudn't have started fort minor.

As for Linkin Park, one of the things that makes them unique is that each album has it's own feel and sound. They love to experiment and push their music in directions that haven't been done before. They should be coming out with a new album this fall and I'm excited about what kind of sound they're developing for it.

I find their beats are really well done, and are very catchy. My fave songs are Remember the Name and Where'd You Go. Hope they don't sell out and turn into crap like Black Eyed Peas >_>
I can't stand Fort minor as rap artists i think they're all just wannabies if it wern't for Mike they wouldn't have got a record contract. I think as a hiphop artist Mike shinoda is terrible his sound did seem to fit with Linkin park but if it was just him doing his "think" linkin park would have flopped too. I think to associate Fort Minor with Linkin Park is blasphomy!

Heard Fort Minor a couple of times before. Some of their songs are pretty good but their too hip-hop for my taste. But, I just don't think it's fair if you compare Fort Minor to Linkin Park. They are both different in genre and style.
However, I think Mike has grown a little bit more through his music in Fort Minor. Makes me look forward to the new Linkin Park album. Can't wait for it to come out and see what they've come up with this album.

One of my friends introduce me to FM and i was hooked on it from the beginning. The sound is just awesome. i already liked linkin park and the styles of beyond and when i heard fort minor it just sounded so familiar but at the same time different that i couldn't stop listening. I hope there will be more albums...
