This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

I havn't seen any subs smaller than 1GigHowever "The Triads" version is very good quality if you're not bothered about the file size

Odin: There is a DVD rip that is about 630MB. It's got some weird audio-video sync error which has no effect on playback in Media Player Classic and is not subtitled, but there are several sets of subtitles on kloofy.net, one of which might work with it. I downloaded it when it first came out but dumped it in favour of the wonderfully-high quality Triad fansub. Search for it on tokyotosho.com ;PAbout the anime itself, I loved it XD Even though I thought the ending left something lacking for me and the whole thing with Sawaturi didn't really have the same emotional hit I got from Hoshi no Koe. But still a very worthwhile watch.

I watched both movies and i thought the graphics were really pretty but i didn't get any of the story...exactly what were they about?! for BTC...i got the story up to the ending...the part where the girl said "i was going to tell you something...but i forgot." then the guys like "thats okay...we can start over" that just like totally blew me off. a lot of people say that hoshi no koe was sad...but i guess i didn't get the story either because i don't see how its sad... <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='unsure.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It was very interesting. I can't say I was on the edge my seat, but I think it's worth watching. The animation was very pretty, and most of the characters were likeable. ^^ It was a nice change of pace.Although, I was still confused about everything that was going on. I think that's the only problem I had with it. I mean, it was slow, but not annoyingly so. There was just so much happening that I think I may have missed some of it. Hm. ^^;; I think it reminded me slightly of RahXephon in that it was ambiguous and mysterious at times... with lots of things that sort of went right over my head. Ah well! I still liked it.

Its meant to be seen in a not so hurried mood....as in a friday evening...if you are "rushed" then alot of the "feelings" will be lostthis movie really needs you to step into the boots of the character to understand his fellings and in turn the movie itself.and you HAVE to go throu phases of emotion turmoil to feel that way (as in you have to have similar experiences as deplicted by BOTH the main male characters in real life , not situations but emotionally, ie a promise you couldnt keep and fumble about it or blame someone else , or be pessimistic etc... )interesting fact:Beyond the clouds beat Steamboy and Howl's moving castle in cinema rankings across Japan ^^ <!--emo&B)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='cool.gif' /><!--endemo-->
