Appreciated if you do give some feedback.

Fighting style is complex and fast paced. Graphics are amazing. You ever played guilty gear? It's guilty gear on steroids.
Yeah I played a litle GG is really complex, and i read somewhere that BB was something like GG.
Thx for your feedback

If you liked GG, then go for it. If you didn't, then avoid
i'm personally have skipped on buying the game. I suspect they're going to pull a guilty gear and release blazblue X2, with twice as many characters and all the fixes. don't want to drop $60 for a game then another $60 because the better version comes out a year or two later
also if you're competetive, expect to experience some rage online, as every loss feels like a "cheap" win (if you're a sore loser lol)

The European Version will come with some awesome extras, like new characters and such, I think it's for the long delay that we always have... I hope they put some awesome new designs, and I'll have my perfect 2d fighter for this gen!
I was playing this over at a friends house the other day, and I have to say it's really slick and lots of fun. The graphics are absolutely stunning, a visual feast for the eyes, from the smooth character animations to the beautifully rendered 3D backgrounds. It's not quite the same-rocked out style as Guilty Gear, as it appears more subdued and less strange/gaudy than its heady predecessor, but it still has the unique visual branding that made GG so visually impressive and memorable.
The gameplay... is an absolutely rambunctious riot, it's a lot of fun to play and even just to watch, though it was/still is somewhat initially difficult to understand. I was playing random at first and found the gameplay somewhat confusing, as it seemed that the characters controlled radically differently, but slowly began to see that each character has a very different and specific strategy for gameplay, which is pretty neat to see in action.
A lot of the character specific moves center around their particular "Drive", which may be executed using the D button. Using the normal Weak, Medium and Strong attacks in tandem with your drive leads to a lot of interesting gameplay results. For example, for the cat-girl Taokaka the drive allows her to dash across the screen multiple times in any direction, which timed properly can confuse the opponent (for example, you may jump backwards and suddenly jump forwards to attack, or if you do a light jump in the air you can suddenly dash to the ground and dash forwards to combo). For another character Lichi, using the Drive can cause her to release her weapon (a giant bo) and allow it to stay stuck in the ground, and at this point in time her fighting style changes. She can even jump off the stick, or stand on top of it high in the air, or jump onto the stick and flip it away at the enemy, or summon it from wherever it may be on the stage to fly spinning towards her and hit the enemy. Yet another character, a little magician-boy Carl, controls a rather menacing maid-robot companion with his drive, controlling its position and attack from wherever it appears to be standing at a given moment, in addition to his own running around and fighting, which is somewhat akin to the Ice-Climbers in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Melee, if you're familiar with that.
My friends and I wound up playing it all night and well into the early morning, if that suggests anything about how fun the game is. The vast differences in the character styles is a neat thing worth exploring, especially in light of the very different combo-connection styles that can result from it, and the strategies that may be implemented between these characters. I've never really been very big into (or very good at) 2d fighters, but BlazBlue definitely has me interested and intrigued with its approachable characters and fun gameplay, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a next gen 2d fighter.

Really well designed and the art for it has been top notch. I tried to grab the Limited Edition for it but alas, my pre-order was too late for it. My favourite character thus far has been Nu-13 due to her ease. Otherwise, the game has been collecting dust since the summer. I sure wish I was better at 2-D fighters.
In my opinion Blazblue is one of the best fighters to ever see release. It has increibly diverse characters no clones of the same character 20 times like Street Fighter did with Ryu. Each players mechanics are so different it's shocking.
The game is stunningly beautiful and shows that Capcom was wrong about sprites reaching their peak and SFi because Blazblue is clearly better.
On top of this Blazblue has the most in depth story mode ever put into a fighting game hands down. There are thousands of lines of dialog and a MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE back story.
Add on top of this a pretty much flawless and lag free online mode and you easily have one of the best games made in a long long time.

It's seriously awesome.
If you have any interest in fighting games, you should grab yourself a copy. The engine works exceptionally well and the graphics are amazing. For once, it even has a decen story! Well, for a fighting game anyway :P

The learning curve for this game is simpler than Guilty Gear.
if you like GG but found it difficult with too much options to choose from on how to deal with offense or defense, BlazBlue is a watered down GG.
BlazBlue has a nice presentation overall and nice graphics but it doesn't feel as balanced as a fighting game compared to Guilty Gear and a few other titles.
Throws are easy to perform and simply combo into during a gautling unlike GG and not even Melty Blood has that ability except for air combos.
BlazBlue either has low life or high damage, but it's a bit simple to figure out 50% combos so matches go by pretty fast.
it's really a acquired taste though so you should check match videos on youtube to see if it looks fun before you buy it.
(just my opinions though, no offense meant to anyone)

I agree with the last post, BlazBlue is way simpler than Guilty Gear. A lot of my friends who like Guilty Gear's visuals but also got too frustrated by its very complicated gameplay found themselves more comfortable playing BlazBlue.
This doesn't mean BlazBlue lacks depth. Game can become very fun but also too hard at high level play, with all the crazy stuff you can do with the characters.
If someone here wants to have some matches on PSN, my ID is KagaminKyousuke. I'm a regular Rachel - Ragna player, so don't expect anything too pro or something like that xD
I definitely need an arcade stick to play this, though. I always feel like I don't have full control over my characters with a digital pad.

As the previous have said, BlazBlue isn't as hard as Guilty Gear to learn especially the mechanics and technicality.
I've been playing it at my friends house for a while and I've got to say, the graphics are amazing and fast paced fighting is always welcomed.
+1 for the arcade sticks as well, I was glad I brought my SF4:TE stick to my friends house because playing BB on a pad felt very slow.

I think that once you get used to the extremely complicated battle system, the game is fun and intense, My only complaint is that the battles are a little too short because of the low health bars.
