This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

You can get them from shops and stores that sell photoshop. A lot of other programs can be used to make sigs and wallpapers. I can't recall what the other programs are because I only use photoshop. Some of the people here might be able to help you though I'm not sure if it's alright to talk about how to get it for free.

Paint shop Pro and Adobe Illustrator, right? But then again, I'm a die-hard photoshop junkie so I rarely use anything else...Um, you can probally buy it online, or find other ways of getting your hands on a copy but like asher said I dunno if we're supposed to talk about that here >_>

And I also use PhotoImpact, which is a good program, but most people haven't heard of it, it has a lot of good juicy stuff in it. Then there is Body Paint, a highly advanced paint program, and of course my favorite to make Renders, Cinema 4d, all from Maxon. You can download a trial version at http://adobe.com but I'm sure you don't want to do that. So, you can be like me and download Warex p2p client, found at download.com, and fire that bad baby up and search for photoshop and download it!

You can get the trial version. If you like how the software turn out to be, then you can go to any computer shops to get yourself one copy. Besides doing sigs and wallpapers, Photoshop got a lot others usage too. Try to explore and bingo, you learn something new.

Mhm, I suggest getting the trial version first. Photoshop is around $600 if I remember correctly, that'd be a waste of money if you weren't going to use it to it's extent or don't even know how.

Actually, if you are a student you can get photoshop with an educational license. I am pretty darn close to buying adobe creative suite (IE everything) just because I use the programs so much (and get paid to do so).Failing that, you could learn GIMP. There are windows ports of it, and GIMP is basically a free photoshop with different UI. People complain about GIMP being hard to learn, but photoshop isn't exactly a walk in the park either, so whatever you learn first will always seem "easier" than anything else.Give GIMP a shot, really, its good for you.
