Who's the greatest anime hero of all time?
nolimitzKenshin Himura, the Legendary Hittokiri Battosai from Rurouni Kenshin!
He is the best Hero! And Rurouni Kenshin also my first anime!
Look at his fast quick Flash and slash style! Cool!
He always want to help someone that need help, without thinking about his own live!
He change his edge of his katana to erase his guiltiness and save other live from evil!

To Goku: He's the typical Super Hero, who cares about his friends and the people that mean the most for him. In order to do that he wants to become more powerful, surpass the Evil's limits in the sake for the good.

If you ask about world savers heroes,
1- Goku (DBZ), even when I don't find dbz intresting at all I have to recognize that Goku is the gratest ever.
2- Seiya (Saint Seiya), I should include all the five Bronce Saints, but seiya, is the more kamikaze of them all, He did everything he could (and even what everyone thought he could not) to protect his godess athena and the world.
3- Guy (GaoGaiGar), Courage sais everything , this man really has burning blood when the world and his loved ones are in danger.
Cool Heroes.
1- Ichigo Kurosaki (bleach), HE COMPLETELY KICKS ASS!, he rules, anyone can beat him (after some new training),
mmm can't remember anyone else right now

In terms of saving the world I would have to say Goku.
I also like Kenshin and Vash the Stampede because they like protect people and all...and they are just cool too.
In terms of just being cool I would have to say Ichigo and Edward Elric. I mean sure Bleach and FullMetal Alchemist are some of my favorite anime but still I just like them because they are cool.

My greatest hero is Son Goku, because he fight to protect the Earth and his friends, never want to kill his opponents and he never doubt to die protecting the planet.
Also is Spike Spiegel from Cowboy BeBop, he live thinking in his past life and die trying to protect the future from Vicious, he never fear dead and died with honor

Hmm lets see.
Heero Yuy of Gundam Wing. If youve watched Endless Waltz you will see that he sacrificed a lot to save everyone.
Kenshin of Rurouni Kenshin. He left his life being a slasher and now tries to protect everyone he loves and cares.
Currently I cant recall other anime heroes but in time I may.

Hm...i think that is kenshin or Goku. they are the strongest of all animes!
Cool question...Hahahahahha...It is very difficult to choose which one is the best^^......I have got lots of favorite boys anime character and I think all of them are cool...Wow...i will waste lots of place if I write them all...Just write some of them and here they are :
First list...Son Goku for saiyuki...Yeaa...everything will say "Hey Goku is not cool...He is a cute boy!"....But me myself don't agree with that....I say Goku have all of them...Cute but also cool*_*....Just see him when he fight against someone...He is rock!!
The other one...Roy Mustang from Full metal Alchemist...wow....Eventhough sometimes he likes to show off his power....I think he is a hero...So gentle^^ and of course so cool when he spark his fire alchemy*_*
Heyy...Outside looking can't 100 hundred percent same with the inside...How about Luffy? Outside looking he looks so dumb...but, who know if he is so powerfull and always care to his friends...Always enjoy his fight against someone...

I think it would be someone with a good heart and he would be kind even to his enemies. The character that comes to mind is actually Alphonse Elric. He seems to see a little good even in his enemies.

Now of course, one would have to answer this according to all the anime they have seen right? So in accordance with that, I would have to say the greatest anime hero would most definitely have to be Goku from Dragonball. I mean lets think about this... how many times has he saved the planet earth? 6? 7? He even came back from "other world" like twice to do it. I dont know of any other anime where the hero has done that much. LOL.. though most animes dont typically run as long as dragonball did.
Hmm this is really hard to say on who the best of the best could be. But I have to agree, that when it comes to saving the earth, or even the universe for that matter, Son Goku beats out everyone in that category, he is definitely an unforgettable hero, coming back to life twice just so he can save the world all over again ^^ But other heros, I also have to say Kira Yamato from the Gundam Seed series. He's fought for the people that he loves and wants to protect with such passion and sadness, and also for his own cause of trying to end the war without if he could killing more people.. He acted selflessly on many occasions, and always showed regret and remorse for all those that he's killed and couldn't save. I think Kira is definitely up there with the rest of the pack for heroism.

The greatest hero in anime? That of course has to be Astro Boy! Why? Because Astro Boy has been one of the pioneer characters in the anime industry, and almost everybody knows who is Astro Boy, regardless of whether he/she is an anime fan or non-fan. Astro Boy has already been epitomised as an icon, and even Kyoto station also has statues of him everywhere! I might not be a huge fan of Astro Boy, but the first character that popped into my mind when I saw this thread was him.
The greatest has to be Goku. I'm not that big of a Dragonball Z/GT fan (I loved DB though), but he pretty much is the definition of a great anime hero. Always saving the planet Earth, as well as the universe. Plus the guy is super powerful, I mean has there ever been a time when his power hasn't drastically increased when he needed it to(The main reason I didn't like the later series). After Goku, I don't know... maybe Ichigo...

Lol, Naruto, Sailor Moon and Goku? o.O to me those seem like the worst heros since they're so predictable. but thats just my opinion.
My Greatest hero would definately be Spike from Cowboy Bebop. I know, It's an old show.. but Spike was just awesome. He was a tough guy with a heart of gold and a fighting style that mimiced water. just awesome. He could take on Goku any day. hahaha.

I would say Kira Yamato from Gundam Seed. I think so because Kira moved away in the first place to escape the war, but in the end he still got absorbed into it, for the sake of protecting his friends and to help the world attain peace. He never liked fighting but he did so to protect his friends and everything he loved and held sacred.
