after playing dragonball gt and levelin i dont know how many players to level 90+
all the fireball triangle button tapping things caused my hands to evolve

I've been playing games since I was 3 years old and using computers since I was 6, my hands never hurt even after a really long session.

Oh yeah, im thumbs gets tired from hours of playing. I can literally feel the joints in my thumbs burning. Then my wrist starts to stiffen up. Then I have to move my wrist around just so I can relive it of it's stiff. But these only happens when I play fighting games like melty blood or DOA4. Haha, it doesn't really take a while for my thumbs to get tired, since im constantly moving my left thumb that's on the joypad and my right thumb press command buttons. So yeah, your pretty much not alone in the thumbs tiring department. XD

Depends on what you play. If you play like an RPG or something where you're not relentlessly button mashing and using the analog sticks, compared to a fighting game with endless combos and buttonmashing, jumping and dodging. I got used to it and I could play fighting games like SC for hours on end. So it usually depends on the game and your stamina I guess :P
GOD! ALL YOU GUYS ARE ROOKIES!
Heh, my thumbs never got tired playing games unless I have to button mash for about ten minutes straight. The only game that makes me sore is Guitar Hero. That game can reek havok on your entire hand if your don't play a guitar. Getting used to that game takes awhile.

Back before Dual Shock, I was always ending up with sore thumbs, especially with the PS1 controllers. I thought that maybe I'd eventually develop a callus, but I haven't so far.
On consoles, my hands don't get tired that easily. but on handheld system, like the GBA i have, games that makes you hold onto the d-pad for a long time , those are what kills my thumbs. i bought a face-plate for my GBA and that mini-joystick tired my left thumb quickly. computer games kills my wrist.

Same here ^^ Leveling up SS4 Goku and SS2 Goku was really tough. You have to work your thumbs until they go numb in order to get into a very high level --___--
The Character Build up in GT is one of the hardest Build Up system in any games ever. The DBZ in PS2 has the same Bulid Up concept but much easier. The DBZ Budokai 3.
Only when I go hard in Guilty Gear for more than 3 hours lol
Since i mainly play computer games such as GW and CoD2, my tumbs dont really get tired. BUt after maybe 2 horus of playing my hand starts to cramp na dget sweaty but other than that im fine.

My fingers cramp up in fighting games only if I've been on for a long time. Other than that, no.
Well I get really into games so on consoles my thumbs always hurt. In racing games cause I have to hold the A button or whatever down forever, and I press too hard, fighting games because of crazy mashing and have to move the analoge stick in mutiple directions constantly, then in RPG's it's no problem at all. But once it was really weird, my pinky hurt when playing SSBM? It was the strangest thing ever, do you even use your pinky for consoles? I could see it for compys but not consoles...Anywho the only other hurt is my wrist because I don't have a chair when I sit in front of my compy so I'm on the floor right now. Plus my ass and my legs from sitting in a cramped position for hours straight...
My hands tend to get tired when I play Guilty Gear because it is such a fast paced game.
Sometimes with PC games I'll get a little sore in the wrists, but never with console.
