Since the nintendo franchise decide to melded up their gazillion of trademarked characters in one game i was wondering which one anyone preferred and why...

Ehhh great game lol. My fav char would have to be Link. his attacks are a little bit better and hes a great kil stealer ^_^. just thow a bomb at somones kill and ull get a double kill haha. also link is bad ass lol

Marth or Roy. I like doing their B + any direction combos that end with an overhead slash. It's fun to see your opponent go flying across the screen after that. =)
Mine is Fox cause of waveshine he has the cheapest attack in the game the reflector throw your opponent out of the stage hit them with the reflector and they cant get up even with there up + B, well on some characters it wont work like DK, pikachu, kirby and so on plus I think his second fastest in the game so its easy to piss of the opponent.

Well i used pikachu a lot because it is easy to dodge attacks and to use one to get out of a critical suituation
Its Young Link for me. More agile than his older self, he can dodge more attacks, has stronger projectiles and faster close range attacks, thus dealing more damage in the long run. Also, he's one of the charatcers that can walljump which is a major plus for expert users. And he has that lil'wooden shield that automaticly deflects some projectles such as samus's indirect missle. ^_^

I'm a peach and capt. falcon user. my primary is peach and capt. falcon is my secondary. I'm starting to use capt. falcon more b/c of his straight kick and flying knee but i'm still better with peach...the only thing i need to work on is my SHFFL with both characters.
I'm the basic Mario user. I punch/throw them off the ledge and prevent them from getting back up by shooting fireballs.
I use Samus all the time in SSMB. She is a really good balance of speed and power. Plus if you master her bomb jump you can survive just about any fall.

I'd have to say Link; my strategy is to barrage the enemy with bombs, arrows and boomerangs from afar, and then to close-in (or have them rush me) and allow them to taste my blade. Although Link is my best, I am disappointed that my Marth isn't better than him. Marth has a better wavedash and is faster. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to master him before I stopped playing the game as seriously. Oh well, I guess I can just accomplish that mastery when SSBM: Brawl comes out!

Link, hand's down. He has the some of the best techniques in the game. He may not be as fast as other characters but he has the power hits to back him up. His spin attack is stronger than his young link and sends them flying. Arrows and Bombs for range and some disruption and using the hookshot to grab onto walls for recovery. I love Link. :p
Marth, since I love sword users, and he's got the right balance of power, speed and technique; Roy is... well, too much "fire" for me, and I'm kinda sick of using Link (I've played most of the "Legend of Zelda" games) so that leaves me with good ol' Marth. Counter-attack is just great, since no one really expects it, and it really gets you outta trouble ^.^
Life without music just wouldn't be worth living.
I like using Kirby, Link, Pikachu, and Zelda (and her transformation...was it Zeik? or something?). Those are my favourite four characters to use. I really like playing SSMB. It's kid-friendly (even though it's violent) and the graphics are just amazing. A new one is about to be released called Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Anybody heard of it?
I usually just end up using Roy or Ganondorf because I'm pretty lousy right now, I stopped playing for ages and now I can barely do anything in it.
