If you could be invisible, would you?
I got this idea when I remembered a story I read some time ago. The trilogy is called Guardians of Time.
Anyways, it kind of set me thinking.. If I could, what is the one power I would like to have. I took some time to think through this question. There are a million powers I would like to have, but if I had to pick one.. Eventually I decided that I wanted to have the power to heal. *Think Wolverine (X-Men)* Something like that.. But I would also like to heal any mental/emotional scars.. Make the world a happier place, eh?
So, I decided to instant message my friend online and ask her this question. She wanted be like Invisible Woman *Think Fantastic 4* I thought about it and agreed that it was kind of cool (if you knew how to trigger it on/off properly). I thought that maybe some people out there would like to be invisible as well.. Which brings me back to the topic...
Would you like to be invisible? Or what other ONE would you like to have?

I think it would be interesting if I could, but nothing permanant, else it would be annoying, and I'd probably freak out like in that movie... HollowMAN!

Heck yes i would love to turn invisible.. help me with certain things.
Mmm, invisible yes, intangible, no. unless I was completely unaffected by universal forces. still, even being invisible isn't all it's cracked up to be, jsut because you can't be seen doesn't mean that you can't be heard, or bumped into etc. and then even there's the government, if you did have that (or any other power really) in the current situation if anyone ever found out abuot it and the government found out about it, then you'd be arrested, sent to alab, studied(possibly dissected) and probably sent off to war. mmm it's better to be creepy and find someplace where you can hide out and not attract attention. keeps you alive longer.

To be able to torture people without them knowing?! Of course! Just kidding. I think it would be fun. I mean, come on. Who doesn't want to be able to turn invisible at will. I think it would be fun. You could protect people and they wouldn't even know it was you.

I remember an X-File episode where this guy wished to become invisible and got the ability, but then a truck hit him because it did not see him crossing the street. So be careful what you wish for. And yes, but only if I could control it of course. Otherwise no way.
If its 24/7 like that movie Hollow Man where he goes all nuts and kills everyone within ten metres, then no.
But it does remind me of that song that goes like:

Hey, now that is interesting. I think I would only want to be invisible when it is convenient for me to be so. I would not want to be permanently invisible you know? So things like sneaking to see a movie free or like hiding from people you don't like and so forth. But invisible all the time, that can't be a good thing, because then your loved ones would never get to see you and that would suck.
If i can turn it on and off, of course silly
But it would be wasted on me,
cause i would probably use it in perverted ways.
And not really much in public because only YOU become invisible NOT YOUR CLOTHES so, this means being butt naked in downtown chicago with the wind blowing and no shoes on will get you dirty, and then seen eveuntually,
And as mentioned before by ~ipsofacto you will be found by the government and then probably disected

Xillusion11, I would suppose, that you unconsiously wish for that healing ability, because your afraid of dying or had an extreme painfull episode in your past (who of us hadn't?:P), and you wish to isolate urself from it happening to you again... or maybe your just a pansy...LOL Just Kiddin' Joke, Joke, Don't get all mad plz :-)
Ehm, ehm...I would surely accept this invicible ability if I had the chance, and could control it. Nevertheless to experience something new ^^ Oh, and I would also love the Wolverines abilities(also the claws) too, just because he's so hardcore :P
