which one is your favorite RPG?

My favorite RPG is FFVII (PSX). Can't tell you why. But I love that game so much.My second would have to be Legend of Mana (PSX).I really liked LoM because there was so much to do, at least 3 main storylines, two player mode (in which you could fight against a friend or alongside them), and so much customization. Once you figured out the smithy, you could make godly weapons and armor, beat the game over and over again, then fight your freind to determine the ultimate champion (or whatever).Other good ones are Secret of Mana (SNES) and Morrowind (PC).

Not much of a RPG fan, but of what I've played, FFX is my fave. (My first and only FF that I've played... sad, I know)
My favs are:1- Chrono cross2-Final Fantasy" (all of them)3-Dragon warrior4-lunar5-sudkoden(All)6- Chrono Trigger7-Legend of Mana8-breath of fire(all)9-dark cloud I and II10-Grandia

It's hard to choose a final fantasy... I'd say FF6 or FF7 for me. Also, I'm retarted. cause I've never finished Xenogears and I love that game. I keep saying one of these days I'm gonna finish it. I've been saying that since it came out many moons ago. Also honerable mention goes out to Lunar!

Gotta get Xenogears... Everone says it's the best.My favorite is Suikoden i. Never got the first two.FFVII is great too, but due to some crap I never finished it.I

A lot of my favourites lost their originality and novelty worth over time :( I mean, c'mon, things do get old for the bajillionth time.One of my all time favourites would be Threads of Fate, or Dewprism in Japanese. No, I'm not secluded, I've played almost every PS RPG! Not that I'm bragging or anything >_>...My current favourites are for the GBA, Summon Night: Craftsword Monogatari 1+2, and Yakusoku no Chi - Riviera. Really awesome, these three games.Generally I like action rpgs, they rock >:O

Glad to see that many others also highly rated Chrono Trigger. I'm glad to see people judging RPGs not by graphics, but by story and overall fun.My favorite one of all time is CT. Final Fantasy VII is my all-time favourite RPG. Man I love that game, the story, the gameplay, the characters... it was done SO well. Other favourite RPGs of mine include:- Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn & Throne of Bhaal Expansion- Diablo II: Lord of Destruction- Ragnarok Online- Neverwinter Nights
