aiyo!
okay.. this is my second attempt at a wall [first one I didn't post]
hoping for a few pointers / comments about the bg
eg. is it too plain etc. but I think simple is better?
thanks~ =]

Yes .. certainly the background can do with a bit more depth.
the main image looks fine; except on the 2 little one at the bottom, which i think it is half obscure by the blur. while the 2 twirlly blur effect (grey & red) can join together, for that it s look kinda empty in the middle.
the "Misha" text should be brought inline with "Shia" in term of boldness and its shadow.
from looking at your image resolution, i ll suggest you have to have a higher resolution before you can think of submitting, since 1024x768 is a bare minimum.

It's a very cute wallpaper but it's missing some little details.
The two little chibis are really cute but I don't really think they make the wall better. And the shading behind them isn't that great either.
The top part of the background is missing something but the colors are well chosen.
I can see a little problem in the interaction of the background and the right sided character. We can see a vertical line cutting her shale in two parts : one light that goes with the rest and one darker edge on the right. You should try to lower a little that difference or make it less visible cause right now it looks pretty bad.
The Misha text is a bit too hard on the eyes and the Shia text on the other side is too light. You should go for a more saturated pink and less dark grey... Or maybe just add some shading behind it so that the texts are more visible.
Just a little question : why the left character is outlined with white light and the right one doesn't? It's not really logical! You can outline them all or remove it but they should have sort of the same effect on... Or at least it should show the same way... See what I mean? It's less visible on the left character's side.
What's the solid grey part on the bottom right corner of the wall?
Anyway good job so far! Keep it up!
