nose bleeds...how do you handle them?
Especially during the spring and summer, I experience a lot of nose bleeds...and no...it's not because I see a lot of hot girls...it's the allergies...I'm pretty sure at least some people know where I'm coming from...when I take medication (especially those nose sprays), my nose begins to bleed excessively...if I don't take the medication than I sneeze so much to the point that my nose begins to bleed anyway...I absolutely hate nose bleeds and I was wondering how you guys handle them...maybe I can learn something from you guys ^_^
Nose bleeds? it's rare when my nose bleeds..but anyway..try to drink milk...my grandmom always says...
and it works!..

When i was younger my nose was always bleeding and not for a few minutes. Using my Kleenex was enough to make to blood pouring out. The doctor "koterized" (idon't know if it's the exact translation) my nose several times but ...
After that, it was less frequent growing up, but still there.
I started Kick Boxing and the sensei learned me how to stop it fastly : press strongly with your thumbs (symmetrically) for a while (hard to explain with words ...).
Now i've no more this problem. I don't know why may because i'm older.

Wow, nose bleeds from allergies o_O ... if it doesn't happen or happens less with pills go that route. Usually just clogging up the nose for a few minutes will stop the nose bleed, not sure how one would prevent or lessen them tho.
If it was up to me I would just bent over the sink and let it bleed it self out, becaue I hate to swalow blood and I hate for it to clog up in there and then heaving it it just nasty. But what I have to do is just bent my head over and let the blood go down my throte. But what Saka says sounds good to try, I will try that myself next time I have a nose bleed. and yeh I recomend that you stop using a nose spray for alergies and use pills. or if it gets real bad I think you should move some other place to leave. good lcuk,
LOL, about the nose bleeds because of hot girls!! Ok seriously now, I know someone just like that who gets frequent nose bleeds. The best way to take care of it is (and now this will sound a lil gross..) is to soak some clean kleenex or toilet paper and stick it up the nostril that is bleeding. Lay down, and then put a very cold towel or ice pack and put it on your forhead, near the sinuse just above your nose. and you pretty much just lay there and change the kleenex every couple of minutes till its gone.

Haven't had a nose bleed in ages. Last time i think it happened to me is when i wiped out from my skateboard =.=
but anyway I just lie down and lean my head back. Usually stops within 5 minutes. Although I hate the feeling(?) of bloody going down my throat. Just feels wierd

I think i`ve had only one nose bleed in my 22 years, and was a hell of a great fight i got into (anded up with a brick to my face and the following nosebleed) but other than that, i dont remember having a nose bleed, even after really painfull hits, y guess i got no blood on my head at all... that should explain a lot of things

Wow...that's EXACTLY the same way I deal with my nose bleeds -- and yeah, it works.

o_o yes, i do the same.. nose bleeds, it happens to me a lot -_- i'm getting tired of it.. last time i was at the museum and suddenly my face was red.. and i had to look for a toilet or something and my friend was with me.. never used that much paper in my whole life just 'cause of my nose, and for my suprise it didn't stop bleeding.I had to take a lots os long breathes, using my nose.. -_-''. The problem was when i got home, my nose started to bleed again =_= and then again when i was in the shower...
Hm, my dad says that after you handle a nose bleed is always good to get an glass of water, or something really cold like and icecream.. well, seems to work. My nose bleeds a lot.. .-.
I don't get nosebleeds very often. They are actually quite rare for me. The way that i was always taught how to deal with them was to hold the bridge of your nose tightly so that you can't breathe in or out of your nose. Then tilt your head back and breathe through your mouth. It sounds rather simplistic but it works for me. It usually stops the nosebleed in a couple of mins.

I used to take some medicine that made me have some nosebleeds. i used to lay down and put a wet cloth on my head. usually it stopped in a few minutes.
