I don´t think that is real
Who know? perhaps it depends of women's personality, I mean, videogames used to be a man hobbie, so a woman who plays must have some sort of self-confident that allows her to do thing other girls wont do, maybe this includes sexual activities.

An explanation could be that people that have more free time, have the time to play games. Therefore a woman that has the free time to play games, also has the time to have more sex. An individual who has a busy life however, may not have as much time, so no games, and less sex. =)
Damn I gotta get my girlfriend a DS now... Hahaha.
Anyway this study leaves out a LOT of details.
1. If they had partners.
2. The REASON for all the sexing.
3. The relevance of video games to begin with.
4. Average age of the women being surveyed.
Other than that the thing is biased because it was a survey from Gamestart an ONLINE video game renting company meaning people could have just lied...

200 is a stupidly small sample size. The accuracy of a poll is determined by the sample size vs. the target size. Comparing the results of 200 and extruding it out over an entire category of people is such a leap that this is actually a logical fallacy called a hasty generalization.

For one thing those statistics are not very reliable because why would you express something like times you had sex in a fraction. You can't have a half or a fourth of sex.
Also I think this is bogus also because not many men find a girl sitting and playing video games to be attractive. Which is just them same with girls. Most couples actually get out and do something or go somewhere.
I also find the survey to be weird. Serious gamers tend to spend a lot of time playing games and don't usually find time for other things. Why? Because I'm a gamer myself. Once I immerse myself in a game, I tend to play till very late in the night.
Maybe the survey's conducted on online gamers like Sim or something? Because I doubt players playing console games getting all worked up to have sex. But online games like Sim... that's another story. You know how some people get worked up interacting with other players and start talking dirty.

That was a strange survey. Only 200 women? Im no survey expert by any means at all, but shouldnt a bigger survery been taken before comming to such a statment?
Besides, does it really matter if they have sex more? Who really cares? Whats next?

Hmm, perhaps I should go look for a gamer girl friend. . . Maybe this advice might work?
I haven't checked this thread in a long time... so I missed something I'd like to comment on.
DZeroX's picture post is of Tatu... a couple of girls in a band who aren't sleeping together and are straight for the most part. One of them recently had a kid.. so... I find it odd. It doesn't really fit here at all.
As to the article, I agree- not very reliable.. but it is fun none the less. And in my personal life- it seems pretty true.. gamer girls do have more sex. The ones I know anyhow..

WOW! I don't know how to say it but I'm pretty surprised. I not sure I believe that, maybe it's just a coincidence or something. I mean how does playing games determine how many times you have sex. It sounds ridiculous, at least to me it does. Maybe because those that play video games are just at home more than the ones that don't play them, so they have more time for sex. Most girls are going shopping or with their friends doing girl stuff. That's my opinion! ^__^
