This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well, this topic all started after i read this book called "Elsewhere" it's about a girl died and lived in another dimansion.just like earth, except this time, the people on the death island is aging BACK until their a baby instead of getting older on earth. This book made it sounds so realistic that i just can't stop wondering about if it's really true...

so,what do you guys think? true or false?

Hmm, that's a real interesting idea, I've never thought about it. It'd go well with Budhist belief, I think, with the reincarnation thing. (Hindu, too, but that's kinda different).
Personally, I've always believed in an afterlife, but you're perpetually at your physical best, and your perfect age. But, hey, I'll have to read that book. There's one called Return from Tomorow that deals with the life-after-death thing, and it's intruiging if you'd care to take a look. I don't know if it's out of print or not, though...

Sorry, but you got to be a god damn moron to think that it is true, or to even believe it a little bit.

and:
Humans are no different from any other living organism; THERE IS NO SPECIAL PLACE FOR US JUST BECAUSE WE ARE SMARTER THEN OTHER ANIMALS!

Everyone is afraid of it, and no one wants to believe it, but when you die, that is it, all your memories and thoughts rot away with your body. The only thing left behind us is or generation and our legacy.

Sad to say gat pretty much got it, when we die we end up in a ditch, or a hole in the ground, nothing better nothing special. The afterlife, probably dosen't exist.

I absolutly HATE to actually fit in, but I have to agree with you guys.
There is nothing that leads me to believe that we are anything more than the sum of all our parts. When our bodies die, we are lost. There is no magical place where we are able to live on.

Sorry, but im gonna have to disagree with you guys. I feel that there is some kind of after life. Why?
well for one reason: I simply can't imagine not existing ( wether it be spiritrually or mentall). Now I don't necessary think theres a heaven, but I think our spirits will still go on, somewhere. And of course were not special just were the smartest thing on Earth. I feel that all living things have a soul or something.

Wish in one hand and $hit in the other. Now, which one fills up faster?

Seriously though, we may die but that doesn't mean we don't exist anymore. (I'm not contradicting myself, just wait) We remain as a memory with all the people we made an impression on and the things we have done continue to have their effects. While our memory will fade with time, our existence will never be completely nullified.

Why do you search so fervently for an explanation that allows you to exist as you are for the rest of eternity? Why should we fear being a part of the cycle of nature and seek a way to transcend it? Eventually some of your matter will be a part of another organism and again you will be alive. That organism will die and the cycle goes on. There is really nothing to fear.

Do you mean like reincarnation? Like once you die you are reborn as another creature?

Of course your body rots away its called decomposition...yet you still cant prove or disaprove if there is an after life for just humans or for all of life...you never know it can be true or not...

So dont run around and calling people morons if they do believe in something after death...since this is a matter of personal belief and opnion...
