Freaky Dreams that Wake you up

I ask this because normally everone usually wakes up frieghten from scary dreams > usually falling off something and waking up before you hit > I mean i have those kinda dreams to time to time
one time i woke up from a dream that got me excited because i was goin on a gun frenzy like a video game. i dont know why i had a dream of shooting people but thats not the point. i woke up with my heart racing and breathing heavily. I have no idea why i would get excited over something like that >maybe a rush? who knows?
But a couple of days ago i had a dream that made me jump awake other than falling.
I was talking to one of my friends at his house and then the next thing you know someone from behind pulls a wire over my neck trying to assassinate me. Doing some kinda metal gear business or splinter cell on me. At the moment i jumped awake with my blanket over my mouth and my hands gripping the blanket.
Have any of you had any other dreams other than falling that waked you up scared or excited? or even pleased?

Oh... i'm a vivid dreamer... sometimes, i get confused between my dreams and reality! Factual info says that a normal person dreams about 7 dreams per night. I KNOW i have way more dreams than that!
the dreams i remember most are probably the dreams that tend to make me cry real tears. i dont wail or scream or anything... wet tears just come out, i start sniffing and i wake up. If i remember correctly... i believe i was dreaming about somebody close dying... lol. i'm an emotional person. thoughts like that cause me to feel sad, let alone an almost real dream!
dreams that leave me scared? plenty! dreams that leave my excited or pleased? well... i suppose there would be many. nice dreams tend to leave people feeling happy but they are the hardest to remember (for me anyways ^^).

When I was little, I couldn't sleep, and I went upstairs and fell asleep between my parents. The next thing I know is that I wake up and there's a kangaroo sleeping on the opposite side of my parents' bed. I can't sleep, so I change with the kangaroo, and discover that there's a skeleton/skull on the chest of drawers, and I get really scared. Then I’m suddenly in the darkest wood ever, with the highest trees ever, and a narrow black tower, yet higher. There's a priest, and he climbs up the tower, says everybody have to be careful, cuz there's a murderer somwhere in the forest. Then he climbs down, and there on the ground stands the blackdressed murderer and slices the head off the priest, and I know it’s his (the priest’s) skeleton in my parents bedroom.. It really freaked me out, and I was scared to death to fall asleep :3

I had a dream about me and this gurl and some how we became lovers in the dream... nothing really happened but i think its my calling or something... that i need to get a gf or something lol

Well, i used to forget about my dreams but till now i still remember a weird dream i had around 8 years or so. That night, i stayed at my auntie's house. I was deeply asleep then suddenly i opened my eyes, i was in my parents' room. I saw my dad opening the internet while my mom's watching tv and my bro's still sleeping. I wanted to call my mom but then i'm in my auntie's room again and unlike in my dream, my bro has woke up...

I have freaky dreams really. Skeletons chasing me, drugs, death. These wake me up. They're different from my other dreams because these dreams are the one that stays. I mean, i can remember every detail of it. Scary.

I have weird dreams; like being in a vast, open area with absolute nothingness, the atmosphere was dark, wet and gloomy, the sky was purple and the only thing I could hear was the sound of wiind, "woosh" it's very weird, but I felt very scared and alone.

I remember when I was like 6, it was Christmas Eve (this is probably one of the most stupid things ever). I finally got to sleep and I had a dream. It was a dream where if Santa Clause touched you, you'd go underground and come up as a gold statue. The other weird thing about it was that if you ever played Candy Land (board game), the character in the game that lived in the ginger bread house, if you'd be caught by her in my dream, she would actually sew your mouth shut. Weird. In the end, I got caught by Santa Clause and right when I came up as a gold statue, I woke up scared as heck! Oh well.

Yeah, I've also had the kind of dreams that your falling and falling, and before or when you hit it, everything goes black [or sometimes white] and then you just jump awake.
I've also had real pain in dreams, too. Like one time I had a dream that someone sliced my arm and shoulder with a sword, and I actually felt pain, then jumped awake, with my hand on my arm, like I did in the dream...
You know, I wonder why wierd dreams like this even exist! How do they just happen anyway...it's a mystery!

I had this one dream where i was at the back of my school, it was a rainy day, and there were snakes, like not deadly ones but small ones, not alot but enough to make you worry, neway so i was walkin down and i see this huuge snake, and i was runnin from it, and it catches up, and it bites my fist, and i keep y fist like kindatight so it doesnt let go and i struglle to get it of and shit, next thing i knew, i wake up, its raining outside, and the snake that bit me was my right arm holding my left arm with sucha dammm good grip lol, i woke i was frozen i'm like...were the hell am i lool now that freaked me out! :/

I an a horror movie fan, and Ive seen saw 1 and 2, rest stop, silent hill, the hills have eyes, pumpkinhead 1 and 2, pet cemetary 1, and many more. I was watching anime in my dream when a flurry of blood oozed through my ceiling. I went upstairs to see what happened, and my family was dead. I then saw Hannibal Lector chasing my brother with a machete, and as my bro tripped, I saw him gutted in front of me. Lector chased me to the forest, I saw a campsite, grabbed the campers' coffee pot, and launched blazing hot coffee onto him. He died, but I was then confronted by Chucky, alien, predator,and pumpkinhead. I was somehow able to use jutsus like from naruto, so I used fireball jutsu on them, but predator's armor was impervious to fire. He shot a spear at me, I did a matrix move and caught it. I threw it back at him, and it pierced his heart. I ran back home, and my girlfriend was there. I told her 2 stay there while I chek the basement. I went down, and as I was searching, Terminator busted thru the backdoor with a sword. I said," You guys killed my family, but you are not gettin' my girl." He threw me down and went after her. He raised the blade, and as he thrust it at her, I jumped in the way and was lacerated across my back. Then, I woke up. I didnt go in my basement for a week.

I once had a dream someone broke into my house and a bunch of my friends were at my house and they came douwn to the basement and said they were going to kill us all. then they tried to make me chose who was going to die first the so on. i was so scared that i jumped to grabb the gun and slowly saw his finger pull the triger and woke up instantly. i was sweatin like no other. now i sleep with a dagger lol. strange huh?

I remember having this dream once where i was flying. THEN it stopped, i just kept falling and falling past clouds and planes, and Waldo hang-gliding...yeah wtf rite? Anyways, i fell until i could see like the road below and this is what scares me. You know how you're suppose to wake up before you hit the ground? Well...i smashed into the road but it wasn't solid. It kind of bent like a trampoline until it finally broke and kept falling through. Then i flew into a giant mouth mocking what my alarm clock was saying and i woke up in a sweat with my arms numb. I have one of those alarm clocks where you can record what you want to wake up to and i have it set to me yelling "HOLY GOD! FIRE! FIRE!! YOU'RE GONNA DIE! WAKE UP!" That was when i had Finals and needed to wake up no matter what so mebe it was the stress. Weird huh?
