Here's another picture from a few years back.
the hardest part for me to do in this one is rei's dress, kinda hard to make the pattern symetrical lol.
i pretty messed up on it then got lazy and feel in more black spots than i should lol.

i used tape to lamenate it cause the colour was fading. i realize that's a stupid idea after i did it, but it was a good idea at the time and can't be reverse :(. i screwed up 2 or 3 of my pics doing that

I think you did great with the dress details - in fact, it's my favorite part of the picture. The background is nicely done and the shading is excellent. A few things I think you can work on are facial structure - it looks good overall, but Shinji's head looks a little distorted; when the ear is too far back in the head, his neck will become a wider. Hope you didn't mind me saying :O But even so, I think you did a great job! And yes, don't try the tape-lamenating method again, haha (I've ruined a piece or two like that before as well, rofl).

I like the picture the dress designs, are with out a dout great. Rei has a great look on her face ears are to far back, and Shinji's faces needs work. :0 not being rude. Over all you did great *claps*.
