Wallpaper looks good to me too. I like your idea of showing the two characters in their different forms.
Hmm...the wall itself is rather bland. I don't imagine it took too much effort to make this wallpaper. I mean, unless of course YOU drew the character pics. Though I doubt that :3 ~

Hmm I admit the background was not a lot of work, besides working out the composition. But the rest was about 3 days of clean up and redrawing.

Your background needs work. I understand you may have worked hard on the scans, but the thing is that you could just have downloaded a good cleaned up scan from somewhere and slapped it together in under 15 minutes. I'm not saying you did, but there's no real way to tell is there? The background on the other hand, is what makes the wallpaper an original wallpaper. In the submission guide, consider points 1, 3 and 4. I see that in the siggy, the CG was not done by you. Furthermore, you admitted not to have planned the background much... which means you fail point 3 in the submission guide.
I think the wallpaper doesn't look too bad, but consider the points above and perhaps redo the background. Post it here to see if it's fine first though. It helps to save you from a -100 papers penalty. Nice job on the scan.
