So here's my other collab with neb1236 :

It all started with this screenshot



then neb1236 vectored it --> I had to make some background for it ^_^

After a lot of ideas, i thought that the more good one was the one when you put the characters in a parchemin; so i mixed layers and textures in order to obtain something realistic. I also found some cool brushes on deviant; so i added the two symbols.i like them very much and it's not illogic since in every vampire clan there's a symbol for the clan and/ or for each member of the clan.

Anyway, here's the result. Please tell me your opinion. It could help me a lot since every detail can give high improvement ;-)

I'd like to see the vector with a dark, scary background, like you sort of scetched out in aweful red-ish/orange.
The vector is nice, although I think the outlines are just a bit too thick.

I'd say that the first one has a better composition and overall better color balance, the vectoring work is about right but I would make the characters stand out more from the background, integrating them with the background through transparency isn't always good, since the point of a background is to make the fore elements to stand out more.

I liked your wallpaper (the first one that is), I think it has a pretty fair balance there. The runes do not really draw attention away from your characters, and provides a nice contrast with the beige background. All in all a sweet looking wallpaper.

The vectors look great but The background,I don't think so..you need to work on more with that..

I've done the same color patterns as the screenshot and i haven't put a texture since i don't like how it looks. Here's the result :

I think the first version is the best.
The vector has some darker colors so in the latest version I think the background is too pinkish for it >.< Oh, and the trees' silhouettes look a bit jagged...
Maybe less bats for the background?

I've put a lot of bats since there's even more in the anime when anjou or the brother controls them ;-)
The trees are jagged beause i wanted to give the impression of fog. You know, it's has to be a little bit blurry.
And i put the same colors of the screenshot : white, yellow and purple.

Anyway, i'll take time to improve it after thinking a little bit since i don't know if i had to stick with the first version or to continue in this last version (even in another color pattern like grunge)

Continue commeting, it will help me to decide things to do ;-)

IMO if you want to stick with the pink background you should increase the colors of the vector ^^
About the trees: I think I understand what you want, but what I meant was that it looks like you took a tree brush and then made it bigger, making it lose quality x_x'
And the bats... you could make different ones, because they all look the same ^^' You could resize some of them besides rotating them at least ^^
