First wallpaper officially made for AP. Please comment and rate(much need). If commenting, PLEASE be very specific and strict(I don't mind, really!)

It's a scan I took from AP and extended the background across the sides, then added the Moetan logo to the bottom left corner.
I know it's a bit plain for most of you...

ADDITIONAL NOTE: The actual wallpaper looks much better than the thumbnail above and I'm a total noob.

Revised: Added several snowflakes as watermarks(my signature will be added after some people and I are satisfied with the quality of this wallpaper)

It honestly doesn't look that bad but if it was me I'd probably would of cleaned up the scan a bit, it looks like you're using the same quality of the original scan which sometimes doesn't look the best.

I think that just extending the scan is not that good >.< The left side is plain. You could add some Christmas related stuff there.
Did you use the clone tool? Because I can see a lot of darker spots on the top red area.
Maybe improving the colors would be a good idea too, to make the wall a bit more lively ^^

Completely revectored the scan, redid the logo, redid the snowflakes, redid the background to a most Christmas-ish color theme.

That is not bad for a first attempt. However, with such a overwhelming bright background, your scan appears pale and colourless in contrast. I'd definately adjust the colours of your scan (and tone down that eyeblinding bright coloured background too...)

The snowflakes would work better if you used different sizes and patterns (instead of just the same patterned snowflake scattering around).
