Smoking
What do you think of smoking? I personally hate people smoking, because that's very uncool. Second of all, smoking can lead up to the desire of wanting it more and more and trying out new drugs and alcohol. Lastly, smoking can cause family problems and can harm your family. What do you guys think about smoking?
Well, i totally agree with you. I view smoking as a very very bad attempt to gain social recognition. Sadly alot of people view it that if they smoke like some of their friends do, they become "cool". Personally, i think that it is a very very shallow kind of thinking. I'd prefer it if they completely ban smoking, but then again, the corporate businesses wont benifit will they?

My dad's side of the family smokes and that's why I don't hang around with my dad anymore. I can stand breathing in smoke and smelling like smoke.

My mom & step-mom & dad all smoke. its so nasty. I can't stand it. >< i dont see why people would do, its one of the most stupid thigns ever.
^^^ It's not the stupidest thing ever, and I can see why people do it. But I do not agree with doing it, I would never smoke myself, but I wouldn't hate someone if they did. Unless I cared for them, in that case I wouldn't let them touch a ciggarette.
I agree with everyone that's posted here already, there's this tutoring center where you have to walk by this balcony, and there's often a lotta people standing by the balcony that's smoking (because smoking isn't allowed inside), and since it's a tutoring center a lotta little kids walk by that smell the smoke. Everytime I walk by someone that's smoking I try to hold my breath for as long as possible and get way from them. Last time when I went to get my driver's lisence there was this mother with a baby in a cart in front of the office smoking while holding her baby. I was like 'wtf is her problem?'

I destest smoking and all forms of drug/alchohol abuse.
Smoking doesn't bother me much, but I don't do it personally, and I don't think I ever will. I don't understand why people smoke in the first place. It's a waste of money, and it's taking away years of life. Sometimes it's tempting for me to try a cigarette, just to see how it feels like. But I know it's very addictive, and the first cigarette can lead to a life of smoking. So for that reason alone, I think I'll stay away from even trying it.
Smoking doesn't bother me either: It is not my concern of others who are sucking their lives away one puff at a time. I don't personally do it, in fact, I highly despise it, but I'm not an anti-smoking fanatic, although I really wish I could be. It just doesn't bother me though. I lost my high-pitched end of my voice due to second-hand smoking of my older brother and father, so I try to avoid them whenever I can. I really wish I can make them quit though.
Personally I don't like it. I have no problem with other people smoking but I won't.
I don't think smokers are all bad people, i just think that it's a wrong decision and a waste of money. i would never do it because my health has already been effected by second hand smoking and i can't breathe properly. inhaling the smell hurts me a lot and i can't stand it.

People say that smoking relaxes you and stuff....well i really dont think anybody's life in america is that stressful compared to the rest of the world......until i met this guy who just got back from iraq.....so i was like....ok you can smoke.....hehehe....i am the law on who can smoke...but seriously....i do have a few friends who smoke and tell me not to cuz its a massive drain on your money......i don't mind the smell....2nd hand smoke is annoying but hey....they're my friends.....
Bunch of hardass's here... whats new I guess.. I don't smoke Tabacco, but I will smoke weed if I'm at a party or just hanging out with some of my pot head friends. I don't smoke that much, but I do every now and then.

Just the smell of the smoke makes me sad, and I hate people who smokes in public >.<
