I TRY to go school if it's a small sickness and if I CAN go. Because I feel ..guilty/bad for not going to school. LOL. It's just a feeling that happens when everyone is going to school but you're not.. etc.
For me if I am sick and I can get up and walk then I go to school. It's such a pain if you have to make up for the classes you missed if ever you went absent just for one day. Besides most people who get fond of going to school miss it went they stay home.
I'm still sick, and it got worse. I now have a fever of 102... yuck. I hate to miss school, but I may have to tomorrow.

When your sick it is best to stay home and get lost of rest or it could get worse and you could go to the ER
Well, I'm sick now, and I am sick and tired of being sick >_> I can't go out of the house because it's cold as heck and it'll only make my illness worse, so I just sit around and get bored all by myself... Even university courses [which I usually hate >_>] would be a bliss compared to what I'm going through T_T
Well, I have to admit that it can get boring being off school for a long period of time, but as for one day of being sick... no, I don't miss school. But, that still doesn't mean that I like getting off school for being sick. In fact, I really dislike it because of having to make up work. That really stinks. >.o
Oh man, when I get sick it's not just the common cold that will get better in just a few days, it'll last for weeks! But even so I will still go to school even though I'm half dead and can't breath through my nose. It's pretty hard to concentrate on what the teacher is trying to say but I can at least write notes to look at after. All my friends usually go to school even though they are sick (though there are a few slackers that find any excuse to skip). I just think it doesn't feel right to miss school for just something like being sick though the hardest part is not going to sleep right when you get home XD

Usually I'll go out to work and school unless I'm very contageous, or I'm throwing up.

Well Im in college so if I miss a day of school because Im sick it is going to hurt me. The reason I say that is because when you miss a lecture you can miss something important, unlike high school. Even in high school I did not like missing school because I would not be able to hang out with my freinds.
I don't do a lot of moving around at work, so if it's something like a cold, I can tolerate.
However if it requires frequent trips to the restroom, my butt stays at home.

Oh, if you are a kid at heart, of course you have the liberty of taking offs whenever you want, school was of no matter anyway, I remember skipping school for 3 weeks and still walk in class with a cigarette in my mouth as I entered. (oh the bad boy days)
But here in the world of the outside, away from home and at work, that liberty is limited, sick or no sick, you gotta work to feed yourself, and such liberty cannot be taken, no way, there is no way one can just you know, rest and relax even on a sick sick day.
I had to take a raincheck once and I ended up staying home and doing lots of documenting work instead.
You do realize that one cannot just do nothing nowadays.
It is becoming really hectic yes, but then again, work life is never easy. So take your fun with you whenever you can, don't stay sick at home, stay sick at the party and down a few vodkas, at least you know you aint missing the fun.
