Why most of the people like to play brood war and not gundam?i think gundam is more fun compare to brood war.

Gundam (or Starcraft 3 as many people call it) is different from Starcraft although it has the same background and music. The difference from Starcraft-Gundam to Starcraft-Brood War is that the units of Protoss and Terran are completely new, while the Zergs unit still the same. I don't think I love playing Gundam either, first because it's not official made by Blizzard. Second, in Starcraft-Gundam there are a lots of strong units for Terran and that not fair, do you remember how strong the marine and firebat units are in Starcraft-Gundam? :) They seem like invincible. In SC-Gundam if you can just bring 12 firebats and 12 marines you can crush any other forces that are not Terran.
Although I don't like SC-Gundam, there's still some cool features in this game that I usually mess around with when I get bored. The Terran Vessel (invisible detector) got lots of cool abilities, like the "crazy fire shooting" that would kill any units on the field, and if you use the cheat code "the gathering", you can have a lot of fun with it, too. :D

I get a bit confused when playing the gundam version. I prefer playing with the original terrans (brood war version). If I can recall I think I only tried it once.
Well, actually, Gundam Century isn't same with Starcraft i. ^^ Gundam Century is a mod of Starcraft - Brood War. It only modificate the Terran and Protoss's units and their status(such as damage, hit points, and energy point). But, it still inside Starcraft - Brood War series. ^^
There're a lot of mods that can be used with Starcraft, you can search it on Google. ^^ I've ever tried SnowCraft. ^^ All of Terran and Protoss's units are changed into variants of Snow Doll. ^^ And the cuildings are changed into refridgerators. ^^
So, there're no Starcraft i, there're only the mods for Starcrafts. ^^

Oh...!But i think zerg and protoss can also win terran depend on how pro a person play it.Sometimes we gonna see the skill of the person who play it.

I played that a long time ago. first saw it at a friend and thought that it is a cool game with add-on. i think i have it somewhere at home, on some cd. >.> i want this ego-shooter star craft. think it was called star craft ghost o.O
One of the best RTS to come out after C&C. A great plotline and insane gameplay. Too bad the there is no Star Craft 2.

I played StarCraft gundam but I stopped playing it since it has a lot of bugs and the unit set up conflicts with the triggers of the campaign maps, especially the Archon crash bug.
Remember the Terran Campaign where DuGalle attacks the Protoss encampment where Jim Raynor and Mengsk are hiding? The game crashed because the Terran buildings didn't lift off and It made you play the game without buildings.
I'd rather go with the original StarCraft. I've been wondering, how's battle.net through StarCraft today? I haven't checked since I lost my legit StarCraft CDs and I can't connect.

Starcraft is a classic, I still love that game. Although I only play it on LAN battles when my friends and I get together, I've got good memories of that game. Apparently BLizzard anounced that Starcraft II might come out, lookin' good there!
