PS3 VS XBOX 360!!!
Which genre of games do you play? If you a first-shooter person I would recommend you get the 360 because it has more shooting games and those shooting games are somewhat better than the one only PS3 has. If you an RPG person. Then... I suggest you wait all 3rd gen consoles doesn't really have any RPGs that seems worthwhile at the moment. However some of the up coming RPGs titles for the 360 sounds promising. (Sorry I don't remember the name).
If you really wanna get one now, then I suggest the Xbox360 because right now it has better titles than the PS3. Then if you really want the PS3 then save money for it after you get the 360. My guess is that it's going to be a while until any good games come ups out for the PS3.

Guess I'd have to say RPG. I bought my XBox 360 so I could get Elder Scrolls:Oblivion. SO far though the Elder Scrolls are the only rpg's i like...I like the complete freedom to go where you like when you want. I also like some of the fighting games, like Mortal Kombat and I love the Burnout games! Road rage! Woohoo!
Since I'm a huge of Square-Enix rpgs, I would probably go with PS3. I have neither of those systems, but If I had to choose, I would say PS3. By the way, I have a WII.....so that's why I'm not sure. XD

xbox 360 seems realiable

If you like FPS, forget the 360 and buy a new PC
FPS are meant to be played in a PC not a console
and normally if you like RPGs, sony (PS3) has the best offers.
you can see that almost all anime games go to PS2

For this particular debate I'm going to side with Microsoft. For a number of reasons.
-Xbox Live - The absolute BEST online console solution. Nothing else compares.
-Third Party Support - Developers are breaking away from making titles exclusive to certain consoles (Square omg yes) so the PS3 lost its edge right there.
-Solid library of games - The 360's been around a while longer so it should be expected that there would be a larger number of games available for it, but the overall quality of the games are definitely a cute above what's available for Sony's console.
-Price - It's cheaper.
-HD DVD - BluRay is gonna lose the format war this time around.

Well, I currently have a 360 and I'm very pleased with it. I agree with Eulogy on most of his points (The exception being HD-DVD because I think it's too early to tell, but that's a minor point.) and I have to say that with titles like Forza 2, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey and Halo 3 coming out soon, I think the 360 is set to be the prime gaming console this year.
A lot of once PS3-only exclusives are also coming to the 360, like Virtua Fighter 5 and (My favourite!) DMC4. If you like JRPGs, I believe Square is also coming out with several new titles on the 360.
I'm currently anticipating the release of another JRPG on the 360 called Eternal Sonata - the demo is pretty enjoyable. There are also titles like Blue Dragon out now, although most of the Square RPGs should be coming later I think.
I can't comment on the PS3 because I don't own one, but so far I consider it's games library a bit lacking. The only great exclusive title it had so far was Resistance.
In any case, the 360 seems to have the best of both worlds as of right now, until more PS3 exclusives come out. (And then you have to compare the PS3 exclusives to the 360 exclusives.) I admit I'm slightly biased towards the 360 side, but I'm also planning to pickup the PS3 if enough titles that I enjoy are out. For now, the 360 gets my vote in terms of the best bang for the buck and the highest amount of fun.
PS: I also though that FPSes belong on the PC until I tried some shooters on the 360. It takes a while to get used to the controller, and even though I still prefer the KB/Mouse combo to a controller, it's actually pretty easy to play on the gamepad, especially considering the library of shooters that aren't going to make it to the PC. (E.G. Gears of war)

Hey all, my first post, anyway. I own both ps3 and 360, between the two i would have to say i prefer the 360, the online features on the 360 is what helped me make my decision. Like eulogy said, nothing compares to its online system. It is extremley addictive with games like gears of war and has so much more depth to it than ps3's current online situation. To see whose going to win, i think will be in quite a while and will be a close battle between the two. Side comment: the wii is a fun console but i dont think it will be a real challenge to the other two in the long run. I think its popularity will die down.
Absolutely PS3.First of all it has full HD support(1080p).Also its gamesare far more better than the xbox.MGS4,God of War 3,Lair and upcoming game of the developers of the Shadow of the Colossus are enough to beat Xbox. Some may say xbox 360 is better than ps3, it's true for now, but after one year PS3 will surely be better than Xbox360 as more unique games will be out for it.

The grafics it´s not all. the game do the videogame and 360 has a lot of good games
sony don´t cares games, just tecnology the videogames is more that it

They both have their good and bad compared to the other. It depends on what type of games the players like, what kind of graphics they're looking for, and etc. It's all a huge matter of opinion in the end, really. But for me, I'd say I go with PS3, since I don't exactly play much games that're released for XBox or 360. I'm a Final Fantasy freak when it comes down to it, so PS3 would be hands down. But that'd be the fan opinion.
Now for the actual facts... well, they both have their ups and downs, and practically the major points have been named already, so I'm not even going to bother with it. But you all get the idea~

Oh come on, who gives a damn. admit it, if you had the money you'd buy the Wii, the 360, and the PS3...like I'm planning to do.
