If there is magic like in anime or manga, do you want to learn and use it ?
i like Final Fantasy and magic in these games is really cool!I like all of them !!
if magic really exists in this world i want to see them with my own eyes and learn how to use them!
if i have magic so i can do anything with magic but not put a finger on it !! hihi ^_^ and even with magic i can fly to anywhere i like, do not have to pay any money for it !!

In the most brutal of terms, magic's a great fictional device. :D
But I digress, I guess. XD
I think I disagree with you, Hina...But this is just my opinion, so don't worry. :) I think our technology would pretty much count as magic. To me, technology is basically magic with a scientific explanation. But yeah, compared with the explosive magic we see in literature or on TV, it isn't much, eh? Once it's explained, it loses its "magical" significance...It becomes mundane and prosaic.
If I had actual magic, man...It'd be great to be able to fly. Or read characters out of books like in Cornelia Funke's "Inkheart". Or summon giant monsters...Or turn into giant monsters! That'd be wicked! ^^

Well, I always liked magic, and when I'm bored in class, I would day dream that I had magic. But since I usually imagine magic belonging to each element. I dream that i have the power to control water. Even though it can't become real, I have a great time imagining that i have water magic.
I'm not sure i like magic and all but some people would go crazy with it and it might become troublesome though i wouldnt mind learning like animation spells lol make like mini models come to life
Our world is our own to grasp, so why don't we?

If you talk about magic in FF, I also want to learn it.. It'll be cool if we can summon something.. It feels like We hav our guardian.. YAAAY !! It'll eat evryone that be cruel to me !! Hahaha.. Just kidding..

But when I read books I like magic that is very limited, as in David Edding's and Feist's books. In those magic is very useful but they can't use it all the time since it demands alot knowledge and power from the user himself.
But at the same time I think Harry Potter is kinda awesome. Not that I would like magic like that for real but it's fun to fantasize about.

If magic existed in this universe/dimension/whatever you want to call it in the same way that Chakra is applied in Naruto, meaning pretty much everyone has it but it takes time and training to achieve a real skill then I'd be all for it. Once it's integrated into a culture like that it becomes a part of normal life.
However, trying to perform or learn about magic in real life is a huge mistake. Take it from someone with personal experience, it's easy to be lead away from a path of good intentions into self-destructive satanism. Overall it's one realm where you can't tell the lies from the truth, reality from mind tricks, and you can easily be manipulated and taken advantage of. My advice is to avoid it as much as possible, not saying that it's overall a bad thing to pursue but it's dangerous.

Oh yeah, I've always liked magic :) always fun to play with it in my imagination. But yeah, agree that it wouldn't be a good thing at this point because of the power that it might have. I mean, if you'd be able to make small objects fly you'd be able to get rid of someone without leaving fingerprints :/ But apart from that, it'd be fun! D:

Haha who wouldn't want magic? The power to control elements, to do things which you otherwise would never achieve? For me I'd like to be able to wield Ice Magic. Wouldn't it be cool to create a instant freeze? I've always been intrigued by ice sculptures and frozen landscapes. On a more practical level, I'd be able to help with the melting iceberg problem ;)
Healing magic would be great too. For me i think healing magic is alot more subtle than wield ice magic, but I'd definitely choose to healing magic haha. Okie dokie, enough fantasizing

Would be really awesome if magic did exist. I'd love to have D&D style magic around, as I'm apparently a bit on the smart side, so it'd not be that hard to learn to be a wizard. And that'd be too cool to even imagine.

Hence if it existed in our real world it wouldn't be impossible anymore and so it would sees to exits as magic.
In other words, you can't have magic and call it magic, so one way or another you can't have magic that exists out of a) a magic realm b) a fictional realm.
You can translate magic as "impossible act"
Having magic is like making the impossible possible which is a paradox.
