THE MEDIA: IS EVERYTHING THERE THE TRUTH?
I was wondering if it's alright to post this:
"Everything in the media is fabricated." I happen to bump on to that sentence... I forgot where. What are your views/comments?

Eh? That's nice. Erm. . .well, most of the time, yes. reason? erm. . .
That depends on the media.

I think it depends?
I'd say 90% of the media world is fabricated. However, there is always still some journalists or other media persona's out there who still do their job properly.
Well, I really think that it depends on what media. for example the media about so called stars. most of the things are fiction, some aren't.
but I think the the news media in austria is worth trusting in.

What media are we talking about?
How to know truth from fiction:
Truths:
BBC, CNN, Al-Jazeera, CNBC, CCTV China News
NOT so true:
Tabloids, other stuff about celebrity gossip, non trusted science journals, unofficial reporting agencies.
If you differentiate from that, you should understand

Sadly enough a lot is fabricated.
But there will always be someone who tells the things the way they are, you just will have to find the right place.

None of the media in the world tells the truth.
doesn't matter if it's CCTV-china, or BBC or CNN, their reports are so bias and political effected.

Ah yes, the media. The reliability of it...NOT.
Okay, the media will have truths in their news, here and there. But this largely depends on the media, cause many medias will censor the truths or news, or others simply fabricate or exagerate existing news to blow them up to grand proportions...
cnn and bbc, they show only what their governments want the people to see, so sometimes important concepts that WOULD be damaging to their nation's governements are completely...ignored in the news.
That's just two examples.
There are many forms of media out there, which concentrate on different aspects. There's a large section of the media that covers the 'paparatzi' section, and all they really do is spread gossip and blow things to grand proportions...
There's the under-valued media, from smaller stations or countries that don't receive the coverage they should, mostly because they tend to cause lots of issues because of the truths that they reveal to the public.
So yeah, it really depends, what I can say for certainty, is that you cannot believe fully what the media tells you, if you do...well...better start searching for additional sources to broaden your horizons.

Amrod, American or British media does not necessary censor the stuff, most of the time they word the news or article in a specific way to blind people. Perfect example is the war in Middle East right now, every time there is a Canadian Soldier died in action the news paper and television will make a huge deal about it and hope to increase Canadians' patriotism and the support for the war. Now think about how many Iraqi soldier has died or how many innocent people has died in Middle East. You see my point here??
Now in the world of the information the rule "the Person that it wishes to see, will see it with help of secret organisations, which work consists in shelter of the present information with the purpose regulation of public opinion on advantage to rich uncles"
Certainly the international channels specially has settled should see do not say lies...
But sometimes and they are pierced... For example news about Bill Gates death... But on the Internet this that to what is necessary to Undoubtedly news concerns with prejudiced mistrust...

It's really hard to find the journalists who are telling the truth because sometimes their reports could be manipulated by their bosses.
But if we dig for the inner truth, our lives are at stake. It's really risky. That's why a lot of journalist are killed in our country; it's the most dangerous place for journalists.

Yes... 90% is fabricated. For example, when someting really terrible happen and the policits dont want to make people scared they manipulate the media to make the thing looks less terrible. And not only in the news, but also with music: most "super-stars" nowadays are fabricated, just a few can be considered "real".
Well, most of the news are real but there are some others that are totally fake. Never really understand why someone could just print a lie but there are tons of things I dont understand of the world.
