The WTF! moments in anime, where things get twisted
I just watched Shuffle 19...and 20... and i decided to start this...
up until now it was a 'fairy' anime with girls being nice, and everyone being nice...then i saw this...and the anime just became twisted...realli twisted... (i badly want to see the next episode >< )
anyways... what other anime moments can you think of that completely changes an anime from nice to completely twisted (and cool ^^)
i can think of kannaduki no miko, which turned a typical gundam-type-kill-bad-guys into a omg-its-a-crazy-lesbian-and-she-wants-to-kill-you anime...
any others anyone can think of please add to this thread ^^

Err can i add excel saga, the anime where almost everything is twisted? hehe
Yeah excel saga change everytime and almost everytime fail :)

Oh Evangelion is so confusing...In the begining i could understand but later i didnt understand anything...Anyways its a cool anime...
Hmmm, Puni Puni Peomi, that one was screwed up royally since it was made by the EXACT same people as excel saga, and it was designed to be loonier, more twisted, and generally more offensive to as many people as possible,(really, its their trailer...)
Dead Leaves is another anime that make me want to jump up and scream WTF! I found it very enjoyable, but in a twisted, I'm watching a psycopath sort of way.

as we begin the third act.
All that's left is to wait for the curtain to rise.

In Fullmetal Alchemist, it turned around completely && it was different..like it got more into the actual story.

Most titles from Clamp. When I first saw Magic Knight Rayearth it was a very typical magical girl show mixed with RPG elements, but in the last episodes when everything is explained you go @_@ WHA?? The same with RG Veda.
Another good anime that makes you go bananas is Haibane Renmei, it's so cute first, but then it twists a lot (i won't say why or when, go watch it ^^)

I both love and hate those types of series. They give you loads of questions and answer about none of them. They only give you hints from which you can only guess the answers. Even the underlying meaning of it all is kind of questionable. :D
Great series though. Way better than S.E. Lain, IMO.

Princess Tutu was kinda like that. It was "okay, she is a cute klutzy girl in love with...wth?! Where did the walking talking cat come from?!" "He threatens to MARRY them?!" "He teaches ballet?!" "Wtf, the anteater is licking Mytho?!" "And what is with that creepy old guy?!"
But most fairy tales have that unrealistic element in them, and Princess Tutu is a really sweet anime that everyone should watch. ^^

AirBorn: I agree, i don't wanna know all those questions if they never give you an answer or at least a hint. But some of those questions are there to let you imagine whatever you like. In the case of Haibane Renmei, I like to imagine that city is like a part of heaven where kids that died at a young age go to heal their souls and face their fears, then they are ready to go back ^^. Some will be left unanswered just because the staff is lazy, so bleh XD
Lol icic but the twisted ones i mean is where it just goes completely insane... not like twisted to a different story... but COMPLETELY VIOLENT CRAZY insane ^^

coz i want to watch things like that.. ^^ thinks like FLCL and elfen lied start insane so those are insane but not twisted from a nice 'lala' story.......
