First Wallpaper To Submit
Well, I began this one, after my first one got rejected. I hope it's ok. Any improvement hints are welcome! I know it's still not that good.

The text is to plain and doesnt suitthe back ground and I yea you should probably vector it or get a higher quality scan the BG has potential i think.
Not bad! ^^ I trust you know which series this girl is from? She doesn't look familiar to me xD not that that matters.
Anyway. Once again, I think it's a case of the background being the first thing you look at instead of the scan. So what I would do is desaturate the background a little, and also do a duplicate of the girl and set it to 'colour burn' in the same space on the wall and play with the opacity of that.
Also, I would try putting the text farther down in the image, like left of her hands even, just so that doesn't take attention away from her but evens up the composition.
Still, it's another good start :3 You've got talent~!

I'm horrible at vectoring, maybe i should just change the girl? yay, i feel so talented... no wait, that sounds conceited... lol, jk! ok, i'll fix the bg, but i have a question, on the chick, you know how her bottom is like cut off? any way i can fix it? i can't bring down her image, or else the tip half is cut off... i'm confused. -.-' this is hard.

I don't think you can fix it if there isn't any more of the image. xD you'd just have to vector it and continue it down to the bottom~ What was the original size of the picture? If you have it there at original size, there's definitely not anything you can do unless you find a higher-res one D:
Well, I think I accidedntally ruined the picture, the picture size was actually perfect... I think I changed it b/c of the background, there was something wrong with that... ok... I'll post the next one soon... what kind of font should I use, can anyone tell me?

or a screenshot? because the colors are pretty dull looking.
extraction also needs work because i can see outlines of white and corners with white color unextracted.
the bg is just a stock with strong saturation that hurts the eyes...with some pixely effects. = not good

This definately has potential, as I already like what I am seeing. However, as blu3angl has said, there is a major issue with the quality of the image. It does look very grainy, and really needs to be touched up, or vectored. Usually, I would first try to bring out the colours using different cleaning techniques. If that doesn't work, I would try to vector it, or even get a new image.

Hey hey .. hmm lets start with this: your scan is not high q so you need to search for HQ scan or vector it and baout your bg i dunt like it it doesnt fit with the gurl and its so lighty >_< it kinda hurts the eyes >_< try to make it lil darker or something like that and i duno if this stoks ov trees pictures but some ov the tree dunt looks good.. and the border you used and your wallpaper try to remove it... and those two white ball you should remove them... coz theres from no where .. if you want to keep them try to add more all around her body to fit with it

:) That's fine, I know I need to improve. I'd like to use this background, so do you know an image that WOULD go with it? Or what would go with an image of a chickadee with a kimono? Because I really want to use the kimono image. Well yea, I basically cannot vector, it turns out worse than before (I don't even know how that's possible...) so maybe if someone wants to collaborate? That would be nice. :) But yea, I changed it and I don't know if it's even any better, but I try. I forgot the username and title, but don't worry, I will add it later. So here, criticize like crazy!

Wow, i realy looove the color... but it's a pity that the quality is not good !! the scan is blurry... :((
