First Attempt at a Wallpaper

I like simplistic abstract designs so I focused upon that for this wallpaper.
I feel that it is unfinished and that it needs a lot more work.
I need others opinions of my wallpaper and also other people to find things that I did not see.

Well for starters the font could be a litle bigger so it's readable
Your signature is a bit tooo small and it's a bit too simple for its type I highly suggest you to look in "The melancholy of Haruhi SUzumiya" scan section in the Gallery section of AP for the exact, but better quality scan.
Then add more of those circles...arrows...abstract designs, and all that good stuff.

I love it, but then I got rejected lol 3 times so yah I would not know anything if you could help me with mine! My wallpaper fourm is on top of yours so please!
The only thing I could improve would be to make the small type a little sharper – try setting the anti-alias to 'none'?

Nice, looks better than before. Theres less empty space in the improved wallpaper, you've got talent ^^ Making the wallpaper less empty but without making it look crowded, sometimes it's pretty tricky to do you need it nicely ^^ A few things bugging me though XPP
1.) The text next to the Kanji is to small, maybe make it larger? So it's actually readable, and keep the same sort of layout of how you've placed the text just make it a little larger ^^
2.) The scan looks really low quality...I highly suggest you look in the category of this anime in The AP Gallery click onto Scans and find the category and try to find the same scan ^^ If not then here is a Cleaning Tutorial ^^ Good luck!

Walaaaa this is a very nice wall!! Looks like AP is getting some pretty good new members lately.
Like everyone said you should look in the scans gallery to find a cleaner version of your scan; it's kinda blurry ^^;;
Another thing is make the pixel text next to the Kanji's bigger and sharper...they're blurry right now >.O That and the text on the bottom part of the wall too.

Don't direct link your wall like that. Put a link to your wall - not your wall itself in your posts. The scan is not very good - it looks like an enlarged manga scan. The wall is still a little plain & simple. I'd make some of the background symbols less transparent.

I disagree, I think the transparacey of the background looks pretty good -_- remember, this wall is supposed to be kept simple and not turned into some busy vectorized wall >.O

I think that the extraction could use some work (I see a few gaps in Haruhi's outline), but the picture looks pretty good. Maybe a bit filtered but still good. Aside from that, I think that the bottom text could be a little bit sharper as its a bit hard to read right now.....and it's....pink ><..overall, pretty good work. Keep it up!
I blurred and filtered the image on purpose to give it its unique textured look.
The drawing itself was a black and white sketch and parts of the outline were not drawn in the original scan.
Also I didnt notice that after I saved it the text got somewhat distorted. I will make it bigger.
